What's New in Atlas

1.3

May 25, 2026

Atlas 1.3 - Heritage Edition Two MASSIVE additions and a lot of polish. UNESCO HERITAGE SITES Every World Heritage site on the planet, browsable from each country's page. 1,247 sites with beautiful photos, descriptions, and a "Take Me Here" button that opens turn-by-turn directions in your default Maps app. ICONIC CITIES Curated capitals and standout cities for every country - population, a beautiful photo, location pin, and the same Take Me Here shortcut. Capitals pinned to the top. PRO: MARK VISITED, SAVE TO COLLECTION, PRO FILTERS Stamp sites and cities as visited. Save the ones you're dreaming of. Pro members unlock category and decade filters on both lists, plus progress meters in the Goals dashboard. NEW QUIZ PACKS UNESCO Sites and Iconic Cities quiz modes - image-based questions, with a clever twist: the countdown only starts AFTER the photo has finished loading, so a slow connection doesn't burn your seconds. SCRAPBOOK Browse your trips as a vintage polaroid book, or stack-and-swipe through every photo you've journaled. One tap to share as a postcard. GOALS DASHBOARD Cumulative line chart of your travels over time. Personal records - fastest streak, busiest month, most-visited continent. Plus a Beyond Countries section that tallies your UNESCO and city stamps alongside the country count. Thanks as always. Atlas is a one-person project so every email and review actually gets read. - Taiwo

Fantastic Travel app

I have learnt so much using the app in the past couple of days, blows the other tracking apps OUT OF THE WATER!

Atlas: World Passport

Great update especially on the UNESCO heritage sites. As a student of history, this is very great!

A wonderful travel app!

A great app where you can track where you have visited and create a wish list for future travel! I love that you can learn about different countries too!

Great app

Never thought about tracking where I’ve been before. But also showing insights of places where I haven’t been, and where I plan to go next. Great app!

Response from developer

Thank you Madv88! That's exactly what I hoped Atlas would do - both "where I've been" and "where next". v1.3 just landed with 1,247 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and 26 hand-picked English cities including Bath, York, Oxford, Brighton and Stratford-upon-Avon for the wishlist. Lots more to plan for the future! - Tai

Works offline!

A cool in-depth world map that also works offline! Has a song, recipe, book, movie and other interesting tidbits about each country which are fascinating to look up and learn. The guestbook is a nice feature too harking back to simpler times of the ‘old internet’ <3

Response from developer

Thank you so much pixelping, the "old-internet" guestbook is genuinely one of my favourite parts of Atlas, so glad it resonates with you! You're on v1.0 - the v1.3 update is now live with UNESCO Sites, iconic cities, new home screen widgets, and even more offline content. The guestbook keeps growing too. - Tai
