Connection steps
This is a nice app. It keeps you from having to look into the scope for long periods of time especially when you want to change settings. I called tech support and they helped me work through the WiFi connection process. The manual doesn’t make it easy to connect the app to the scope. Once you connect the first time, it’s easy to reconnect and get back into the settings.

The app is constantly disconnecting from x sight using it on iPhone 15. I loaded the app on iPad and it works fine.
ATN 4k Scope
So I bought my scope on Amazon last year and fell completely in love with it. Talk about dead on. So this year I went to use it and the third time the screen would not power on, I contacted customer support , they talked me through a fix, which did not work. They had me send my scope to them and they sent me a brand new replacement still wrapped in the box. A+++++++++ service. I highly recommend any ATN product. THANK YOU ATN!!!!!

Scope is great app not so good
When I try to stream on my iPhone it always disconnects from the scopes WiFi

Whoever was recently hired to (or fired from) ATN’s app development team hats off to you! Thank you for the added features! The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the app occasionally freezes causing me to reboot my iPad. Overall this is a huge step in the right direction for obsidian 4 and ATN! Thank you 👍✌️

Updated to this app worst thing I could have done… very unreliable… please fix… older app was easy to use and videos easy to see which one to review… can’t see because of the triangle…. How do I get back to older app….

From the trashy wifi connection, to the crappy options you cant use or the app will crash, for the features we had that were taken away....its all garbage now.
Version 2.0 . Finally
Version 2.0 works on my XS max. 1.7 was the last one I was able to use. I’m turning off automatic updates and sticking with this one. Still frustrated with app support because of the two or more months of not knowing if it would ever work on my phone.

Every time they change something it never works. They known the app has problems because I called them and they said they knew there is a problem with it. But they leave it up to be downloaded to screw up the scopes

New update, same garbage
Writing this review in November 2024, the app was supposedly updated just two months ago to a new user interface and connectivity. I cannot get the app to connect to my scope, despite trying numerous times. Looking online, everyone has the same problem. I called the company and there’s no one to talk to. Garbage support. Absolutely do not buy this product if you would like to connect it to your phone.

Doesn’t connect anymore
Used to work on previous versions of iOS but now just a spinning circle whilst trying to connect.
Videos on iPhone don’t download after new update
You’d think they’d find a way to fix it but I guess not , do yourself a favor and don’t even buy ATN products
Version 1.9 is not any better
After reading a five year old review about this app, I can confirm that it still drops WiFi and freezes. Makes using the app to change any settings on the scope very sketch. Contacted support by phone and by email. Not sure who I had in the phone a few weeks ago, but still waiting on that call back. Email goes to Kelly Mullin and she has an automatic reply “out of office” set up. That’s real nice. Hope nothing goes wrong with the ATN scope, I can see what I’m in for. There needs to be a zero stars option.

Update breaks saving to phone
So have a Mars 4 640 4-40 thermal. Been using it for a long time but the app has just been updated and I cannot saved to my phone anymore. The error message is storage full.
Mobile stream doesn’t show crosshairs
After the update 1.9 it doesn’t show the mobile steam crosshairs like what ???just because the new scope out doesn’t mean downgrade ower app

Sight is great but the app is terrible. Won’t let me connect to the scope. Waste.
