Failure to operate!
Please correct this piece of frustration. Don’t put it out if you do not have a good product! It makes your whole corporation look sickly.
Won’t allow birth date
Train registration, it requires the birthdate to be entered. It will not allow the actual birthdate to be entered. It keeps going back to the current date.
Horrendous
You try to load it and it doesn’t work.
Quick app to nowhere
Love the Atria community. But sorry, this app is horrible! It opens, I click on Events, and the app slams shut.
Is it just for residents?
It seems as though it was for residents and their families but it does not allow me to sign up. I get to the page where are you put in your email and a code that is sent to your email address but I’ve never received an email. I do get email from the Director of the facility but not one to provide a code that I can submit. This would be a great tool if it worked for families. Knowing in advance what the activities or meals might be would allow us to encourage their participation. Hopefully this app will continue to be improved and used for the benefit of all Atria families.

Your developers are idiots
I have an account that I setup on my desktop machine but am unable to access it through the app because you don’t allow logins from anything other than Facebook, google or apple.
Failed app
I don’t have a Facebook or Google account, so I was excited when they added access with an Apple account. When I could use my password, it worked great. Now it requires a passcode, with no way to request one. Does no one test these apps before rolling them out?
Great idea, if it worked
I love the idea of the residents and family members being able to look at all of the activities and menu and everything it has to offer, but every slinger time I open the app, it force closes within 10 seconds. I even deleted the app and re-downloaded it. Still force closing as soon as I open it so it’s a pretty useless app.

Welcome email access code?
I tried creating an account with multiple google and Apple accounts. I am NOT receiving the welcome access code on any of the email accounts. Also, when I log in with Facebook, it just keeps taking me back to the create an account screen with no escape options. What gives?
Waiting for Welcome Code

Google or FB login required NOT FOR ME
Sorry but I refuse to connect FB or Goggle to my info at Atria.
Using their log in for something person as my family’s health and personal information is not acceptable. You might not be selling the info collected from FB and / or Google but that leaves you wide open to collect and use you yourself, no thank you. I will pass on that.
App deleted from my phone, I will keep on calling you

Disappointed is an Understatement
I was given to direct link by the facility director after receiving the news my mother just tested Covid positive. It's imperative I have up to the minute information regarding how Atria is handling this situation. I am not a Facebook or Google user therefore I cannot access the information I need to make informed decisions on how to move forward. I'm appalled!

Dear CEO and Developer ...
Update: Over 4 months later and nothing has been done to change the login without FaceBook or Google. Atria CEO — have you not noticed the app’s poor rating because of this? Have you not noticed your customers outcries? It really does appear Atria does not care and is just mining data. Shame on you!

Your repeated response to Atria family concerns is,
“We use Facebook and Google for login authentication because they are well known, established, and secure ...”
As many have indicated, we do not feel Facebook and Google are secure. They are well known for data breaches throughout their establishments. A more secure login needs to be developed. Much safer than Facebook and Google or Yahoo or Twitter, etc. or any of these third parties can offer as a middleman.
I’d like to know about the residents’ privacy. Is their information shared with Facebook and Google too? Things like residents’ temperatures should be very private. That’s medical information. Are you aware of HIPA? The sharing of information this app represents between Atria residents and their families is very private.
I understand why you skipped an app development step, using third parties’ software instead of taking the time to develop your own. Plus it means less tech maintenance for you. Plus, you have the bonus of third parties’ numbers counters, etc. and other data the app users may not be made fully aware of. However, when families and residents are asking for more security, when we are the ones paying Atria who is supposed to do their work for us, your pat answer is unappreciated. You gave no hint that log-in improvements would be attempted, looked at, or even considered despite the outcry.
Having an app for communication, especially during Atria’s pandemic restrictions, is appreciated. Please make it more secure. I hope you never find your aging disabled loved one isolated from you.

The app does not work!
I have tried multiple times. I also called and they tried to walk me through it and it still didn’t work. I haven’t seen my mom since February. I live in ny and she’s in the memory care unit and would love to see what goes on during the day. This would have been a great thing if it worked sorry it did not 😥

Privacy violations?
Maybe this app is fabulous. I’ll never know. Atria sent me an email saying this was available and it seemed like a great idea. I only read the reviews AFTER I was cornered into choosing a Facebook or google login.
Yes, I’ve read the developer responses. I’m not buying it. Other apps allow a sign in using an email address, without forfeiting or “sharing” a bunch of personal information.
Some of us avoid Facebook and google. This does not indicate that we are indifferent to our elderly relatives.
An otherwise promising app is repelling potential users by (at least the appearance of) violating user privacy.
No thanks. Please try again.

No “welcome email”
So in order to get started with this app you need an access code which is supposed to come in a “welcome email”. Apparently such a thing doesn’t exist because I’ve been trying to sign up for nearly a week without ever receiving this email. It’s a good thing I talk to my mom everyday and don’t ‘ need’ the app.

Won’t use due to sign in reqmnts
No way will I be forced to use google or FB to log in
Never Received Access Code
I tried three times and never received an access code. So as someone with a family member living in Atria it’s frustrating trying to look at the events for the day and I am unable to do the simplest thing as sign up for the app.
Useless App makes me suspicious of why they created it
It’s too bad no one at corporate thought it a good idea to ask families of residents what type of information WE thought might be beneficial to US in this app. Since our loved ones are being subject to social isolation, and families are not able to lay eyes on their loved ones daily, this app could have offered useful information. But, no one asked.
They could have included a daily menu of what our family member was being served along with a PICTURE. Then, it would have been helpful to know if they were actually eating said food and how much, if at all.
It would be nice to know if our loved ones are getting up out of bed before noon and if they’re getting dressed. Many aren’t. But we don’t know that during this time of social isolation.
It would be nice to know what type of engagements they were involved with that day, if any. Did anyone spend any quality time talking with the resident? How long?
It would be nice to know how many cases of Covid have been discovered among residents and employees. How many recovered and how many died.
If you want this app to serve your customers then put information in it that serves them. Knowing temps isn’t helpful. If they have a temp, I’m sure I’ll be notified by your facility for liability reasons on your part. This currently serves only as a record of temperatures. I agree with another review in that this has become an ethically questionable tool to harvest data for marketing purposes and not much more.
Plus, technically speaking, the app freezes regularly.

No option to create an app specific account
I, like others here will, not use an app that requires a gmail or Facebook login. The warning comes up that I am allowing the app and website to share information about me. Sorry developer your reassurance that you won’t isn’t reassuring. Please allow us to create our own accounts with a user id and password outside of Facebook and Gmail.
