Looks like it desperately needs an update
The app freezes the second I open it, and will neither react to my finger touch nor update album covers. As others have observed, it also displays albums that have been deleted for months. This app appears to be incompatible with any iDevice created after the iPhone 4S.
my main music controller
with a suggestion: add the ability to shuffle by album.
This app allows me to rediscover music which keeps me from playing the same songs over and over again. Adding shuffle by album would make this awesome!
(Also would be nice to provide feedback on the website, I looked.)

Great app
A really cool idea and a beautiful implementation. Nice work.
Awesome!
Very cool
Very nice
Very neat little app.
Would be more perfect if it had a feature like ability to get a new different selection of albums not heard in a while.

App is great
It'd be nice to have a few more functions.
• I like the added functionality to remove albums. Though, It'd be nice to be able to pick albums yourself that you know you haven't heard lately.
•I'd also like to be able to mark albums as heard without having to listen to it.
Other than that the app is great. Tapping into the iPod, via the 'Home' button double tap, so you can rate the song in the iPod app and return to Attic without missing a step.

Best App Ever
o you need to get this app it's a must
Don't bother
Great idea; just wish it worked. Crashes every time I try to open it. Tried deleting and reinstalling but to no avail.
Great at what it does
Very helpful app with a very specific function. It does not serve well as a replacement for the regular music player; where it really helps is in rediscovering forgotten albums in a large music collection. When I am headed out the door and do not have a particular choice of music in mind I open this instead of the player, and get a list of albums not listened to lately. Have had some great rediscovery moments already that more than repay installing the app. Albums can be deleted from the list if you don't want them there, with new ones automatically added. No crash problems in my case (4th gen Touch). My only request would be a button to refresh the whole list with a fresh set, in case it happens to come up with a whole set that don't appeal right now.

Useful!!
It's a great app. It finds albums I was in love with months ago and allows me to listen to them while there not crowded in my iPod app. It's useful to use for that alone.. :) very happy!!
Play faviote albums
Update:......... Ok the update has made this app a lot better and more usable, But I still really would like a feature in the settings menu where you could turn of the random/never played albums, and you could have a option to be able to choose the 16 albums out of your whole music liberay, then this app would be very usefull since you can't make playlist on iPhone yet, we could use this instead to mix a few of are faviote albums into a playlist. also its really annoying when your listerning to a song and then you drag a new album in the slot and it skips the track your listerning to, it would be great if it could just keep playing the song without skiping. Hope that makes sense lol. Anyway it is a very nice app and has great potential, once I can play my faviote albums I will give this app 5 stars. Plz add this. Thanks dev

Embarrassingly buggy, do not buy
Deleting albums doesn't work and frequently causes crashes. the app will bug you to review it to boot. Hope your happy devs, here's the review you bugged me to write. Please don't reward this level of idiocy with your money, the iTunes genius playlist works a lot better, in the sense that it works at all and this app is trash.

Would be perfect after some tweaking
I LOVE this app. Really, it's amazing. It's not been crashing, and it does what it says - helps rediscover music. Fabulous. However, for me, I would love to have my music scrobbled to last.fm while I listen. If you added this, I could rate it 5 stars, no problem!
Muito bom!
Só sinto falta de um refresh para mudar as musicas e um grupo para separar os tipos (rock, clássico, etc.).
No mais acho ótimo. Recomendo.

The only app I've regretted getting
I've never written a negative review before, but this app just doesn't work. It won't show the covers of any of the music on my iPhone and appears to be nothing but a glorified iPod controller. The concept is fantastic, and it definitely looks pretty. Once it actually works, I could see myself using this all the time - especially on my Mac. Mac app coming soon?

older versions were great
this application keeps crashing on loading it, and when it finally manages to open up all the way, the albums that appear on it were deleted from my ipod months ago. terrible!
Wonderful App
I needed an app with this functionality, especially with a big library where my music gets buried. The interface is delicious.
Personal complaints:
1. When loading the records, place then in a queue, not a stack. I don't want to be listening to an album, only to be cut off because I added an album I forgot.
2. I don't want the album repeating. I don't like having to go to iTunes every time I loa an album.

Lovely
Great looking with some lovely animation and sound fx. Also very usable
Fantastic App; Universal soon?
Remarkable app. I'm just hoping a universal update will come soon to expand the UI for the larger iPad screen.
Handy app, but could use some tweaks
This app is mostly useful for shuffling albums, and it does a pretty good job most of the time. However, there are a few little things that bug me about it.
The most frustrating thing is that Attic automatically enables repeat mode, and offers no option to disable this misfeature. If I'm using a dedicated app to find music I haven't heard in a while, why would I want to listen to it in a loop?
I like the magic wand feature, but it will often select albums that I've already hears that day, often at Attic's suggestion. If the app knows I've just listened to an album recently, why does it suggest it again.
Finally, I dislike the fact that adding or ejecting an album causes the playlist to restart. I understand there might be technical/API issues at play here, but the app really could handle this scenario more gracefully.
Despite all of the above I really appreciate Attic and would heartily recommend it to anyone with even a moderately deep music collection.
