Bought for insaneintherain, stayed for the great game.
It was such a great game!
I was skeptical at first since there is not so many reviews on this game. Turns out it was a very cool game, from the characters, the story, plot twist, background, and even the soundtracks were very enjoyable. Can't wait for the next one!

Got a headache from the tiny text size
I tried the Large font size setting and barely noticed any difference.
Please add larger text size options so I can actually play the game without getting a headache!
The font face itself is readable but boring. Please offer a font that better suits the Arcane setting of the game. Of course, make sure it is readable, and keep an option to switch between different fonts.

Loved this game!! I can’t wait for the sequel!!!
I absolutely love this game, I’ve played it twice now. I can’t express how invested I got into playing it that I got others into it as well. It’s just so fun and amazing! It’s well written and the character development through the story grows and prospers into an exciting adventure! I can’t wait for the sequel now, it’s going to be epic! The conclusion leaves off on a “to be continued” screen so it sounds like there shall be more!!
The only con I can really mention is the font being really small. It would be nice if they had better options for people using mobile devices rather than a PC. The font sizes are supposed to change but they don’t really do anything. The title screen words are bigger than the font of the actual conversations.

Tiny Font
I’ve played the game for about 10 minutes on my iPhone and enjoy it so far. It’s just really difficult to read the words on the screen for the conversations. The font options don’t barely change between the options that are given. I’m sure if I played on an iPad or something increasingly bigger, it would be wonderful but it’s not well made for iPhone.

Great game overall
Although having been greatly inspired by the Ace Attorney franchise I can proudly say after completing everything the game has to offer that It is well enough to differentiate itself from ace attorney. The story and music was phenomenal and the characters were well written and was genuinely intrigued by magic system in the world and how smoothly it is incorporated into the cases despite looking overwhelming at first glance.
I would definitely recommend trying this game out if you are a fan of the Ace Attorney franchise and looking to scratch an itch. Definitely looking forward to more as to what the developers has in store for their next game.

Great little game
Really enjoyed playing this. The characters are likeable and some of the arguments are going to have you rummaging around in your evidence, spells and profiles. Looking forward to the sequel

Amazing game and feels like Ace Attorney but with an interesting twist of magic and steampunk. I actually like the characters more than the later Ace Attorney games. Keep it going!

Wonderful love letter to the Ace Attorney series
If Ace Attorney and D&D had a child, it would be this game. I would recommend this to fans of either, or anyone wanting some courtroom-magic-mystery.
Magic and procedural courtroom drama is a combination that works surprisingly well. Magic expands the potential solutions of the puzzles - and the magic system has defined rules to work off, so magic doesn’t just become a catch-all to explain poor writing, but something you can catch someone in a lie about, if they’re wrong about any little detail of the effect, etc. And thankfully, it feels like it belongs in the setting and in those puzzles, instead of feeling like it was tacked on for the sake of being different.
There are a lot of similar mechanics to the Ace Attorney series (psyche locks, the protagonist’s powers, etc.), but also enough different that you can feel that it isn’t just a reskin, but something familiar with added freshness.
A lot of Steam reviews puts the game time at around 15+ hours, so definitely a good amount of game for what you’re paying.
Great art and character designs - plenty of characters to simp for, or dump on (in a good way)! You can tell where some of the animations borrow quite a bit from AA, but overall they are different enough that I see it as a cute nod.
The music is quite good, with insaneintherain and Shady Cicada creating an OST with a good range of moods/styles. Even the first case there was one particularly great track near the end, and the tracks are pretty consistently great. There are a few times where the placement of the music is a bit odd, but overall I’m very pleasantly surprised.
The story is engaging, albeit with quite a few typos. The dev has been quick to start correcting typos, so this may go away in the future, but currently there are enough typos to be noticeable (and funny at times) - nothing game breaking, but not the polished experience AA is.
Overall, you can tell the dev was passionate about making this, and it shows itself when you’re playing. Some more polishing required, but with the frequency of fixes right now I’m not particularly worried. Hope we see more like this!

Scratches the Phoenix Wright Itch with $wa !
Also its awesome they got Insaneintherain. He brought jazz to video games for me back in 2017. This is the collab i was waiting for all these months.

The game is visually nice, the idea is good and the gameplay is pretty fresh for a click and think kind of game, although, the game itself can get boring not because I just read more than I do something but because everything feels boring, but all in all, great game
Like Ace Attorney
Love this game! It’s very similar to the Ace Attorney series. There’s only one episode but it’s free can’t wait for more episodes to come out. Finished this one in less than a day.
Not bad, but not Phoenix Wright

Love letter to Phoenix Wright games.
I’ve been playing the first case for a little over 20 minutes and I can really appreciate the love and detail that went into this as a fan of the original Phoenix Wright games by Capcom. The art is gorgeous and the writing is exceptional. The reason I gave it one star is because it was a little TOO much like PW, (ruby is Mia, Celeste I’m assuming is the Maya of the game, and the judge character looks an awful lot like the judge in PW). Although the art is beautiful, I feel like the creator could have made his sprites/art a little more unique in terms of their poses (Tyrion does the slam at the desk just like Phoenix, for example). Another reason for the star off was the writing, though good, doesn’t have quite the same draw as PW. It’s definitely way more serious in tone. If you’re into a more serious PW type game, this is for you. Personally I loved the crazy, wacky dialogue from the PW games and I was hoping as this was a homage to them, that type of dialogue would be here too. It’s still a solid effort and I can’t wait to see what else the creator comes up with!
