How Do I Cancel a Snipe?

I started a snipe then decided to buy the item from another seller at a better price.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE

All of a sudden, this app, which I purchased is no longer available. I tried to contact the developer with no success.
I was notified the developer has an update coming.
I hope soon.

Response from developer

Hi Danny, eBay made a change that kept the app from working, I've been working on an update and it is nearly ready, the support email still works though, so I am not sure why you were not able to get through, I answer all emails with a question in them, and have been doing that for 8 years.

Works

I used this app and won. I will always use this app when bidding on eBay

Works great

The UI is awkward. The help is hard to read. And multisniping (the best feature) is not available in the iOS version (for somewhat obvious reasons). But it works, and works well, especially in conjunction with the Mac app, which *does* have multisniping (multisniping is the ability to set bids for multiple items, and it will stop bidding after it has one one, so you can bid on six different new iPads at once without worrying that you’ll win more than one of them). And the developer is very responsive. I wish for three things: Share sheet support, so I can send items from the eBay app to this one without having to copy and paste, the ability to set up clusters on the iOS app for use in the Mac app, and auto-calculation of shipping costs, so I can enter the same bid amount for several items with different shipping costs.

iPhone 6

It keeps crashing on it

Response from developer

Hi Jose, try deleting the app, redownloading from App Store, (with an update that should be out in a few days from now) see how it is working then. not sure what was happening back last year though.. it has been working fine, but this app is one where it needs set up with specific setup instructions to work.

FAQ

What does this app do?

This app automates your eBay bidding process. You can set a maximum price and a specific bid time before an auction ends, and the app will automatically place a bid for you. It aims to win auctions by bidding only what is necessary to secure the item within your set maximum.

How does the automatic sniping work?

The app offers multiple modes for automatic sniping. One mode utilizes a companion Mac app that runs in the background, allowing for complete automation. Another mode allows you to use an old iPod Touch or iPad/iPhone as a dedicated 'Sniper Server' that stays on and runs the app in the foreground.

Is there a cost to use this app?

All auction sniping functionality within this app is fee-free for life. There are no per-auction service fees. A companion Mac app is available at a low price for enhanced background sniping capabilities.

What are the system requirements for the app?

The iOS app requires iOS 8 or better. For the companion Mac app, OS X 10.8 or better is required. You will also need iCloud turned on for synchronization between devices.

What are the different modes of operation?

There are four modes. Mode 1 uses a companion Mac app for background sniping. Mode 2 uses a dedicated iDevice as a sniper server. Mode 3 provides alerts to remind you to manually open the app for sniping in the foreground. Mode 4 is not detailed in the provided description.
