Garbled
Update on the review: The developers responded promptly to the issue I previously reported, and I am very grateful for that. However, the problems mentioned below have not been resolved at all. I previously stated that I was trying to import an EPUB book, but I actually misspoke; I was importing a TXT book. In fact, this app does not support the import of EPUB books.
After the app update, I tried importing the same Chinese TXT book again, which contains over a million characters, and it still opens as a garbled mess.

Changes the simplest sentence to complete nonsense
The voices sound somewhat human, but are super choppy might as well read it yourself. If you insert text… which should be the easiest thing for it to do. Completely changes everything. Puts random spaces in a word generate things that was never there. Garbage.

Only for small size text!
I tried to use it several times before but yesterday I really needed a read aloud app and I tried to use it for a booklet of 110 pages and the app kept crashing and could not read not even the 1rst pages but in another small text if you just copy and paste it does not happen this. Not saying is bad but 100 pages is not that big. In other hand if is a book that was scanned the OCR is kind of good.

Audible anything
I am 76 years old and I have always had trouble reading. Don’t get me wrong I can read, but not at the level most people can. This app makes it able for me to play something back so much faster than I can read it I am just amazed. I wish I had this app years ago would’ve been my life a lot easier and I would have been able to accomplish more in my life.
But here I am, and as I always say the past which is yesterday is the past. The present which is a gift is now. The future, which is tomorrow is a mystery.

PDF upload doesn’t work well
I’ve tried uploading several PDFs and it just freezes. Or when it does work, it repeats the same page/line over and over. Quite frustrating.

Nice little App
Although the supplies voiced seem to stumble over some sentences not punctuated properly, it is very good with inflections and pronunciation.
It has potential
I loaded a PDF and it froze. It tried to restart it but it wouldn’t load so I had to uninstall and reinstall it. I loaded a smaller PDF and while it was playing the voice changed by itself. If I paused it, it went back to the beginning. Only a portion of the PDF played and then stopped. When I hit play it started from the beginning again.

I just wish that the app would read webpages in addition to what it already does. If I could share a link from Safari’s share panel to this app and have the app import the content, that would be perfect.
Reasonable
Some voices are more fluid than others. Diction is good. Inflections are somewhat stammer/stutter. But overall it seems useful. Don’t expect to get the same emotional experience as a reading from a human recording as Audible or Bible recordings.

No epub support
Anything doesn’t even include epub. So much for importing my ebook collection.
Useless
This app doesn't use AI to simulate natural human-like pronunciation. Instead, it uses outdated computer-generated speech, which sounds stiff and unnatural. Such app is not useful in the age of AI.
Simple, but effective
I have been looking for an app like this for a while! I can now read anything with ease while improving my ability to focus on the text. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to build good reading habits as well as listen to your favorite articles!
It's an excellent app for people with reading disabilities.
So, this is a great app. I have dyslexia, and over the years, I have learned to live with it, but I have always been a lousy reader, being very slow, and my assignments take me a long time because of my disability. But when I found this app, I could get through my reading assignments faster, and I feel like I found a superpower with this thing! The only down side is that this app does not read charts or tables very well; it makes them a jumbled mess, so I have to edit the readings and read my charts on my own, but other than that, this app is incredible! Thank you, developers!
