So sad these no longer play. Huge loss.

I’ve been enjoying these for years (5 Stars) and bought many of the extra books available. But something has gone terribly wrong. They all show 0…seems to no longer have any content and I’ve been unable to find a way to enter a Help Request. 🥲

Hi Cindy - first, thanks for being a loyal listener. Second, our apologies for the app crash. We've recently just acquired Catholic Vault from the previous owner and are working on fixing a few things. We have fixed the audio and we've just implemented the 'restore purchase' feature on this app - can you please click restore purchase? This should fix the problem and you should be able to listen again. Please reply back if this still doesnt work for you. Thanks so much!

Having problems!

Can’t access the free books and the one I bought. Play button doesn’t work. Tried desinstalling and reinstalling: didn’t change anything. Tried to contact the developer site and it brought me to some suspicious Asian website. Help!!

Audio Catholic Books is hacked

I loved this app until it was hacked. Chinese hacked the app so that all audio books autoplay with 0:00 time, so nothing sounds. When attempting to restore purchase or upgrade, one is directed to the AppStore to enter financial data, credit card details, etc. Then selected audiobooks are supposedly loaded. One goes to play them and 0:00 time, and nothing is installed. Going to app support website redirects to a porn Chinese site, and now credit card details are taken, no books are downloaded, the app continues to play nothing on all books downloaded, and the website is not working and shows it is down. This as of April 30, 2023. A shame indeed!

Hi there - we apologize for the recent problems the app has encountered. We've just acquired Catholic Vault from the previous owner and have been working on many upgrades and app fixes. The audio on this should now be playing - and the restore purchase functionality should be accessible. Please restore your purchase and try again and let me know if it works! The apps themselves were never compromised/hacked - just merely not updated. Appreciate all your insight and feedback. if you have anymore suggestions, we're all ears! Trying to revive and make this content easily accessible to everyone. Thanks again.

Don’t waste your time

It doesn’t work. Tried listening and nothing played. It showed the audio player but even the time stamp showed 0:00 on the remaining track.

Absolutely Outstanding

An incredible deal, and the books on available on this app have changed my life. I don’t know where I would be in my spiritual journey without this app. I am a convert to Catholicism, and this app has been a wonderful resource for me. I go through periods where I listen them every other day. Don’t hesitate to buy, and I highly recommend the Catholic Classics section. May God bless the developers of this app.

No way to upgrade

The selected writing that is available is excellent. Unfortunately, when you click the upgrade button. Nothing happens. And you can’t seem to get a hold of anybody to deal with this problem. For that reason, I cannot listen to most all of the books that are available on here and that I want to listen to. If they were available and if you could purchase the entire app and if you could get support I would give it five stars easily. But that is not the case.

Thank you for introducing me to Carmelites!

Best Audio Catholic App I have ever found! Except narrator of The Interior Castle, wish the reading was more toned for calm and interior introspect. Other than that narrator, great readings.

Introduction to the Devout Life is not working. Support is not available. I would've given this 5 stars.

Great app!

Only thing that could be better: allow for saving of position during audio. Some files are >45min. If I am interrupted during that time, my position is lost and I have to manually search out my place. If you could add a feature to save my place upon exiting that would be great. Thank you!
