Seriously, What Are You Thinking?!
The desktop version is amazing. it is powerful, and it follows the spirit of open source and shareware where people can donate if they appreciate the work, keeping it accessible to everyone. That model is fair, honest, and it builds loyalty. I love the desktop app because it respects the user.
Then I look at the iPad version: $3.99 a week. A week! That is not just disappointing, it is insulting. Subscriptions like this turn a great tool into something predatory. Instead of encouraging support, it drives people away. I would gladly pay once for a full version, but locking it behind an endless subscription feels like a cash grab.
It is heartbreaking to see a program that represents everything good about open software on the desktop, only to see it reduced to yet another subscription trap on mobile. OcenAudio deserves better, and so do its users.
