AudioNotes 2 Not Working
I have use the original AudioNotes for years quit successfully. Recently I installed AudioNotes 2. Today I went to open a previously recorded file first received a message “unable to create a document” and and AudioNotes crashed. So I tried opening the file from Finder. AudioNotes crashed and the file disappeared from my computer. Stupid me did this two more times with the same results. I now lost three files, one is irreplaceable. I have tried reinstalling AudioNotes 2. When I try to run it, I get the same message “unable to create a document” and the app crashes. My M1 MacBook Pro I running iOS 26.5.2.

Overall Great App Review but still problems
I have never personally left a bad review. When the app works, it is a great app. I have tried to get through to someone with emphasis and persistently that it takes a very long time to open the app, about a minute and a half. No other app takes this long. It means you cannot access anything else on your phone while waiting for it to come up as it takes up the whole screen. And this is a long time to wait when you have thoughts fresh on your mind. I always have to write down my thought to remind me what to put in the voice recorder in case it malfunctions as it sometimes does.
Now at present currently it is having major malfunctions. It rarely at this point even completes loading to open up. Did the owner try to cancel my subscription for bringing these problems up? I’m just trying to get it to work. If you are from the midwest and thought I was rude, truly this is not my intention. If someone could please call me to try to resolve this, I would appreciate it, it now malfunctions all the time and at least need to get it to work. I’m a very friendly guy. thx

No longer good
This used to be really great, but now it no longer transcribes correctly.
Transcription is horrible
The Audio Note App feature in the voice recorder does not accurately transcribe my notes, achieving only about 30% to 50% accuracy. I have used it for six classes, and the transcriptions are useless. In contrast, I have used the Voice Memo app on my Apple device, providing about 80% to 90% accuracy in transcriptions. The Voice Memo app is included with the Apple iPhone, so there’s no need to spend extra money. The only valuable part of this app is that you can purchase version one, which allows you to relisten to where you took the notes if you need to, and fix a part of your note that was written not as expected.

Very useful
Good for learning language (listening to Mp3 - conversation and browse the text content at the same time). Also it can insert image ,which is useful for listening song and see the lyric (in image format )at the same time.
The transcription feature is very poor - very slow in speed ( Japanese speech to Japanese text).
Better if the position of play / pause button is easy to access for ipad user

La 1a versión la utilice desde el 2015 en mis estudios y quitaron esa versión y para poder guardar esos archivos ahora debo pagar mensualmente con AudioNota 2, si no no puedo recuperar mis archivos en mi computadora, BUSQUEN OTRA APP
Keeps Crashing and Files Disappear. Lost Data
Opens a file and it disappears. App keeps crashing. I have lost several data files.
Easy to use advanced features
After trying to find a good audio recording app that could allow the user to write in notes and have multiple recordings within each note, this was the one that does it the best.
The Best
For me, this app is the best because it records and take notes. You can have this on your phone and if you want to record anything, you just push the button, you can also listen to it and erase whatever you want make changes. I’ve had this for many years and I can’t explain to you all that it does, but it is a good app and if you see five stars anywhere else believe it. I have never had any problems with it ,true statement.

Horrible Customer Support
This app used to work GREAT, now all of a sudden it has quit working proberly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still doesn’t help. I have emailed them several times and no response at all!!!! If I could give a 0 STAR I WOULD!!!!!

Files disappearing
It’s unfortunate my files keep disappearing. I’m disappointed.

Resource intensive
Found it to drain my battery on iPad. iPad goes hot when I use it. Went back to my original AudioNote. battery life is normal again
Do better
I really want to like this app but it’s so laggy and unreliable it’s turned into a added stress while trying to take notes during a lecture. Not worth it.
Speech to txt is great
This app is very easy to use and the speech to txt feature is great. The fact that the audio never leaves your device is a great privacy feature.
