Great collection of birds. Nice photos.
Love that when I want to confirm an ID or show some one the difference between a red headed and red bellied wood pecker that I have photos on my phone. Sadly I can't always pull a traditional field guide out of my hand bag

Central Park Birds Great!!
I have lived in New York for over 50 years now and I've been a Birder for 25 of these years but birds in Central Park?! Really?! A resounding YES came back to me, it's a must see. One bird in particular has been sighted there The Wood Duck! That's my reason for writing this review. Yup they're here at The Park along with other water fowl. It doesn't matter what season just GO, you'll be amazed!

Use it 1st.
This is my "go-to" app. I'm an intermediate birder. My grand-daughter and I love to look at the wild life in our rural yard. This app is the start of many investigations.
This app is excellent!
This is my go to app every time I have an encounter with a new bird or when I'm not sure about a bird species. I use it in Central Park, all around the city and in upstate NY. My only suggestion is to give the mute swans 3 stars rather than 4 since I and some of the birders I know haven't seen any in the park in the last 3 years.

Unable to download Nov 5, 2015 update; app is dead.
Following the November 5, 2015 update, I get the error message "Unable to Download App". I've tried dozens of times to update the app as well as deleting the app and reinstalling it, all of which fail. The app is in limbo on my iPhone and does not work at all. It will not open. It will not re-download. Please help.

After the November 2015 update, the app will not download. I continue to receive the following error… “There was a problem downloading. The URL could not be found on the server."
Great but not great pics
Some pictures are good and some are bad I like this app because of the information and the fun of it! I don't really care about the pics except for when I can barely see them in real life :D otherwise and awesome app

Great app
I love love love this app!! I love that this app is free. Audobon makes amazing apps! But this app has some blurry pics for the birds and some of the birds don't offer sounds. :( But this is a great app overall and sometimes it crashes. :)
Bad Crops
The images were cropped by a blind photographer. On a small display, the image of each bird must fill the limited available space. Showing a wide-angle view of a snowy field with a tiny owl in the background is plain foolish. Of course it shows no detail of the bird! This is a consistent problem throughout the app.

Almost there...
This is almost a 5* app. The major issue is some of the pics are either blurry or of low quality. Other then that it has all the info you would need.
