Live view don’t work
Otherwise app works fine and stable
no live video on app
Can’t see live video on app, easy to use app, not to much that needs to be moved around just fix the live video
Don’t use AUKEY
The stupid morons at AUKEY can’t design an app that actually lets your phone connect to the app. Going to switch to a camera that doesn’t have a bunch of regards designing the app. Completely useless if you’re in a car accident to show to the police.
Worst app I’ve ever used
I bought Aukeys 4k dash cam which is fine however what I didn’t realize is my $150 dash cam gets all the features I wanted from the app. No big deal though.
Except viewing files thru the app is hit or miss at best and that’s being generous on how often it works.
Live view just flat out doesn’t work.
Saving files doesn’t work for me at all
Marking files to save doesn’t work and I don’t see any option at all for protecting them other than to download them which as I said above doesn’t work with the app.
It constantly says I’m not connected to the camera even when I am.
When it does register it’s connected it constantly says unable to connect.
I’m so upset I bought this camera but aukey has the worst return policy. It says if you opened or used the product you cannot return it. Or Course I could have argued it if I hadn’t forgot about sending out out until after the 30 days were up. I was moving and lost track of when it came in and lost it in the shuffle. DO NOT BUY AN AUKEY DASH CAM!

Can’t save to my phone and download time is terribly slow…

Useless
App doesn’t work. It connects to the phone like a champ then nothing. So yea like the other reviewer said, look for another dashcam.
Terrible
It connects to the camera, but that’s about it. The file list of videos is 8 days old, even though I can see the videos from today on the actual camera, it won’t show me anything newer through the app. God forbid I back out of the file list, because if I try to go back to it, it’s just blank and won’t even show me what I saw 10 seconds earlier, my outdated videos. What good is this going to do me in a car accident if I can’t access the file from the camera? Hope the cop can see on that tiny 1.5” screen on the camera, lol ok. Fix your app. Prospective buyers, buy a different brand of dash cam.

Live Review Doesn’t Work
I’ve connected to the dash cam however the app doesn’t reflect the same feed as the dash cam. On the app, the screen is black. Please fix this bug.
Poor app
I’m not exactly sure what the purpose of this app is. I believe you are supposed to be able to record to your phone but I am unable to that. The only use for this is to play the live video while you’re driving. That is an utterly useless feature.

It's not the most polished user experience, but all of the functions I have needed worked as expected.

BIGGEST downfall is its inability to save videos to cellphone photo album. It downloads videos to phone, but upon checking phone album, video is absent. It is much easier to save videos to the app itself but this does not enable you to send/share. VERY BIG downfall that makes me consider returning the camera altogether. If this can be patched, that would relieve a lot of user concerns.
Such a shame because the dash cam itself is a good product. If only Aukey can have the same consistency in its apps to pair with its products.

Avoid
This app froze my entire phone, and I was unable to restart it the normal way. If you want to disconnect until your battery dies, this app is for you.
App has connectivity checking issues
Connecting to the camera via this app works, but the app is detecting this improperly and believes it’s failing. This causes a “connect a Failed” error on the live stream page, and the app automatically dismisses that view controller. If you leave the error modal open for a moment, the RTSP stream does begin, but this is unusable.
I’m also unable to find any files for downloading or preview from the hamburger menu.
Workarounds:
Connect to cameras WIFI network. The camera will be available at IP address 192.168.1.254.
Live streaming — use the VLC app (or similar) to connect to the rtsp stream. On the bottom select Network then choose Open Network Stream. Enter “rtsp://192.168.1.254” and tap Open Network Stream. VLC will remember this url for you so you don’t need to enter it again.
Downloading — use any browser on your device to visit “192.168.1.254” and you will see “AUKEY” at the top. The camera is running a web server that lets you navigate through the folder structure starting at the root ”AUKEY” folder. Tap that and drill down from there.

I have deleted and re-downloaded app several times but when I put it on Wi-Fi it just says connection lost every time I try to connect to the camera no matter what I do through the troubleshooting steps it doesn't fix it
