Not operational do not buy
I purchased the unlock features and nothing happened. No features were activated. No way to reach company
App with potential
Like the focus stack capture function. Wanted to provide some feedback to the author, but the mail address stated at the author's web page does not work. Quite expensive if not sure how the app will develop in the future.
App crashes when capture button clicked
I recently downloaded and purchased AuraHDR and as soon as I click the capture button for any of the HDR modes and long exposure mode - the app shuts down. It DOES work for focus modes. I rebooted the phone - same result. iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 18.0.0. AuraHDR 8.0.1 purchased 10/4.
UPDATE: November 2024. 8.0.2 resolved the crashing issue. Upgrading rating to 4. Why not 5 star? Remote Bluetooth shutter button does not activate shutter, only changes volume
UPDATE: December 2024. App takes nice brackets that I import into Neo or Lightroom - however - when I take a 2nd shot, the app freezes with “High Quality Raw Bracket. Tripod is Advised”. The only way out is to close out the app and restart- which is a cumbersome workaround. Downgrading to 3 star.

Crashes
This app was working fine until I upgraded to version 8. Now when I try to take a new picture it closes by itself.
Horrible looking HDR results. Still not right.
Even after the update in September 2024 the app still doesn’t look right on an iPhone 14 Pro. Some of the menus/buttons are obscured. I’ve just updated to the newest version (June 2024) and the results are terrible, HDR looks really bad, I’m getting banding on clouds and it looks awful. And also on the iPhone 14 Pro the bottom buttons are hidden by the bottom of the phone so you can’t see the text. if you are using Dark Mode on your phone, then you can’t even see the text. I’ve deleted this app because it is so bad and I’m fed up after having paid for it.

Needs Emergency Update
Since IOS 18 update, AuraHDR just crashes. I deinstalled and then reinstalled the app, but now freezes.
App that can’t merge what it took.
Why to install when you can’t finish what you started?

Nothing is free! The application crashes! I will definitely not buy something that doesn't work for free!

If its a camera, why does it need location? Is it to track us?

5 star pending premium purchase experiments.
I downloaded this before but for some reason deleted it.
After redos loading i notice I does a pretty decent job. Functions are limited. But $1.99 for the few extra features they are may be worth purchasing. I will be purchasing and testing it later this week and update this review.
only 4 stars at the moment. The 1 star loss is only because I have to try the premium features to see if they’re worth it.
However as for the limited, I love the bracketing because if all else fails I can choose the best one and take it into Lightroom for adjustments.
The results so far are surprisingly good. I notice the developer has reset the ratings and everything and that’s fine. I’m not sure the reason I deleted it the first time around and I’m giving it another try and in pleased so far so I will respect the reset.
This app has a lot of potential and I hope the developer doesn’t abandon it.
I would suggest more editing options such as curve adjustment and things like that. But so far so good.
