Pins The Map tab is now called Pins. Tapping a recording's thumbnail now plays it right there without leaving the map instead of jumping to the full player. A Guided Tour, Rebuilt The whole walkthrough is new — interactive spotlight tours through Capture, the Player, your Catalog, and any recording's Detail screen, backed by a fuller written Guide that now actually matches what the tour teaches. Replay any tour anytime from its screen's menu. Smarter Recording Processing New recordings are now analyzed individually — loudness, dynamics, content type — instead of one fixed setting for everyone. Quiet recordings get boosted appropriately, hot ones are protected from clipping, and very quiet/distant conversations get an extra pass to bring them up to a listenable level. Clearer, Safer Deletes Deleting one or many recordings now shows exactly what will happen, and gives you a real Undo — including for bulk deletes. Also corrected the FAQ: your audio goes to Recently Deleted / Trash for about 30 days; only the notes and transcript are truly unrecoverable. Safety Track Choosing AAC no longer silently turns off your backup safety track, and you can now see whether it's on from the collapsed summary without expanding it. Battery Life Fixed real battery drain on the Capture screen — the recording meter and location lookups were running at full rate even while you weren't recording. Library Backup Added a way to back up your entire library's metadata to a portable file, from Settings → Storage.
