Great for new cyclists

I got back into cycling a few months ago, after nearly 30 years, and have had to re-learn everything. I’m keen but slow and sometimes awkward, and am putting in lots of practice to get better. I love riding on paths but am not roadworthy yet and will happily take the long way to get somewhere. This app has been so handy for suggesting routes that allow me to have fun and avoid cars. Previously I was plotting routes with Google Maps and adding fake stops to get Google to make the super-safe scenic route I wanted, not the efficient route it wanted. This app got my preferred route to work on the first try, no additional stops, once I pressed the button for paths-preferred. And I love being able to find cafes and bike hoops! One suggestion for improvement would be more realistic time estimates based on my actual speed (including lots of stops when things get tricky). And I’d like to be able to correct route segments that I know aren’t quite right. Otherwise it’s brilliant.
