Can not connect to iPhone, iPad or MacBook

This app will not accept input from my audio interface. Interface has its own power. Connected via 2 different interfaces, and neither were recognized by this app. There should be some instructions for connecting, and the app should show options for input. It has neither of these. I have no use for this app using the built in mic. I would have just used a free app for that. Sorry - it looks like a nice interface. It just doesn’t work as advertised for me

Connect to hardware synth?

My use case was connecting from my iPhone to the Roland S-1 synth via USB. The app did not receive the audio from the synth. (I had seen it being used that way with the S-1 on a YouTube video, although I did not see precisely how the connection was made.)
I also could not see the app from GarageBand on my iPhone.
Still, it’s a good app. Just not what I had bought it for.

Can’t move around properly in horizontal axis

It has a way to adjust the start position, but if you were hoping to inspect the tail you are out of luck. I’m looking for a better scope

Helps me learn my Digitone

Bought this hoping it would help me analyze the tone from my Elektron digitone and I’m surprised it worked flawlessly. So easy to use. Now I’m able to see how I’m shaping these FM sounds. Such a great tool to help learn fm synthesis. Thx so much.

Response from developer

Thank you so much! We’re glad you like auSCOPE X and happy to know it is performing well. Seeing what FM synthesis is doing is a perfect use case.

PERFECT!

This app is an absolute God-send! I couldn’t be more pleased. I’m using it in standalone mode to monitor signals from my modular system via an audio interface, and it works brilliantly!

I have started posting tutorial content on YouTube as MONODUX and and this is going to be such a tremendous help.

Thank you SO MUCH!

A brilliant & essential audio tool! ! 🦋

I’ve needed a scope for iOS for ages but been waiting for the right one to appear - et voila! I’ve been exploring and analysing noises & waveforms ever since! It’s designed specifically for audio, so it’s very flexible, yet intuitive (…and fun to explore)! The GUI is clean (and colourful) with a logical layout (and simple controls).

Its universal so always nearby as a technical audio tool (via iPhone) when you’re out in the field! Naturally, the iPad version provides a vast view of audio activity (in UHD) and is helpful for surgical analysis or glancing visual insights (whilst juggling hardware) or thoughtfully crafting exotic synthesis waveforms etc.

Scopes are essential for audio production, sound design or music creation (technical and creatively) and mobile access is awesome! It’s AU too, so I can use AUM (on iPad via my external sound card) to instantly monitor and switch between multiple hardware or software plugin signals! A brilliant & essential audio tool!
