About
Ausmal Club is a coloring book for the tablet, and for the iPhone when you're on the go. One tap fills exactly one area, and nothing spills over the lines. The paper is cream white and the borders are drawn with a wax crayon: it looks like a coloring book, not like a toolbox.
WHO IT IS FOR
For children from three to eight who cannot read yet. Every color and every picture is called by its name, so a child gets along alone. The buttons are large, and a palm resting on the edge of the screen sets nothing off.
1,890 PICTURES IN 160 TOPICS
Dinosaurs, unicorns, diggers, cats, Christmas, sea animals: 1,890 coloring pages, each with a name of its own. They are the same pictures that ausmal.club offers for printing.
COLORING
A tap with the bucket fills an area. Next to it are a brush, an eraser, an undo button and a magnifier. On iPhone, you can also pinch to zoom in on the picture. Everything is saved by itself, with no save button: a child has nothing to remember and loses nothing.
FIVE LANGUAGES, NO SPEECH SERVICE
Interface and spoken prompts come in German, English, French, Dutch and Spanish. The prompts are finished recordings inside the app; nothing is sent to a speech service, and none of it needs a network. Picture titles are spoken in German.
FOR GROWN-UPS
Behind an arithmetic question lies the parents area:
• Painting time per weekday, five to sixty minutes, plus days off. It ends with a sound, not with a lock.
• How much may be going on in one picture: up to 40 areas, up to 120, or everything.
• Printing: the empty outline for the table, or the finished work. Plus share as PDF and save to Photos.
• The collection of finished works, deletable one by one.
• Language, sound and the subscription.
ON THE WALL
On iPad, the finished picture hangs on a real wall through the camera. Nothing is stored and nothing is sent.
WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO
• no advertising, not even our own
• no account, no sign-in
• no tracking, no analytics, no advertising identifier
• no network request beyond the store itself
A child's pictures stay on the device.
THE SUBSCRIPTION
Five pictures are free without any purchase and stay free: unicorn, dinosaur, tractor, cat, rocket. All 1,890 pictures come with the subscription: seven days free, then the monthly or yearly price shown in the App Store. One subscription works on all your devices: with the same Apple Account it covers iPad and iPhone, and through Family Sharing the whole household. It renews until it is cancelled; cancelling happens in the store settings, and the way there is in the parents area. The purchase page sits behind the arithmetic question, so no child sees it, and no locked picture appears in the grid.
