A faster, smarter way to find Christmas lights this season, and the app is now made for iPhone Duo. MADE FOR IPHONE DUO Open • Explore, See All, Favourites and Search are laid out for the big screen. Cards sit two across instead of stretching edge to edge, and Featured shows two displays at a time. • Displays open in a roomy iPad-style page, and Settings gets its own tab with two columns. • The route planner opens full screen, with your stops beside a live night map of the route. • In landscape, page titles sit clear of the rounded corners and the launch animation is bigger. Half open • Nothing lands on the crease: grids, Settings and Profile arrange themselves around the fold. • Held like a laptop, a display's photos and videos fill the top half and its details scroll on the bottom half. • The route planner puts your stops on one side of the fold and the map on the other. FASTER • Displays appear within a second or two of first opening the app, with photos filling in as they load. • Opening a display loads its full photo gallery and videos straight away, even if you're not signed in to iCloud. FIND THE RIGHT DISPLAY • City search: search "Sydney", "Melbourne", "Gold Coast" or 34 other cities and regions to see every display in the area, closest first. • All Displays has a new filter: everything, just the displays confirmed for 2026, or retired displays. RETIRED DISPLAYS • Displays that have stopped for good, for example when the owners have moved, are now marked Retired. They're no longer on the map or in lists and search, but their page is still there under All Displays › Retired. • Owners can retire their display, or bring it back, from their edit screen. FOR DISPLAY OWNERS • Get a notification when your display or ownership claim is approved, and a thank-you when a display you shared goes live. • The AI description helper now uses the location, dates and times you've entered when it polishes, shortens or warms up your description, and tells you before anything is sent to its AI service. IPAD AND DESIGN • Settings uses two columns on iPad in landscape, and Appearance now has Light, Dark and Auto previews. • A bigger launch animation on iPad in landscape, and it now closes as soon as displays are ready. FIXES • The Search tab's search field is back on iOS 27. • Search no longer shows duplicate or blank results, or listings that aren't live yet. • Titles and descriptions keep their apostrophes, quotes and dashes, and no longer lose the words "Select" or "Update". • Smoother tab switching, and pages no longer shift just after they appear. • Updated privacy policy.
