Broken and non-existent response
Until early June ‘23 this app was awesome if you reside in Aus. Then something happened to verification of subscribers, meaning a loss of paid functionality. Developer said yep I got this, but then went silent. Follow ups sent weeks later, silent!!! Guess I have no choice now but to look for a new app that works, and found the free BOM app to be surprisingly good. Such a shame, I’d really like to love the app again.

Best weather app for Aussies
Love, love, LOVE this app! Worth every cent of the $1 per month subscription. Great graphical interface and the ability to scroll through the upcoming days weather and see the percentage likelihood of rain on an hour to hour basis is my favourite feature. Hands down the best weather app if you live in Australia. Had a recent issue with my subscription no longer registering, but after emailing the dev I had a fix within half an hour! I just had to resubscribe instead of restore subscription and it was good to go again. Have been using this app for years now and hope it continues to be just as great for years to come.

Really good, but yet another subscription :(
The app is very nice and well thought out. Privacy policy is good. But yet other subscription. I know the dev has to make money and I respect that. But $12 a year for a weather app (a crowded market) is a pretty steep barrier. I’d maybe pay $3-4 as an annual subscription (mostly all I want is the widget). But not more than that. Especially as the BOMs app is pretty good (but no widget). And Apple’s own weather app is getting better accuracy-wise (for me at least) and will have lots more features with the upcoming iOS15 update.
