This gives you no direction on how to use it. I was trying to use it to authenticate my account for school and said it was super easy to cancel through system setting. I can’t even find it to cancel. This is such BS. DO NOT USE THIS!

The developer of this app is deceptively presenting the app (via the photo) as Microsoft Authenticator. It is not Microsoft Authenticator.

The appearance in the App Store is misleading enough for me to think I was installing Microsoft Authenticator, but it’s not, it’s from NexGen Software LCC. As soon as I realised, I deleted it, so I can’t rate its functionality, but other reviews are not encouraging.

Deceptive and unsafe
This app deliberately made itself to look like the Microsoft Authenticator app. I thought it was the same and tried to use it and it didn’t work which is when I realized it wasn’t the same app available on iOS. They now have my Microsoft password.

Tried to install on my Mac mini but can’t get it to work. Do I have to pay is that what I have to do?
Awful App
Maybe the worst and most confusing app I have ever used. I am angered every time I open it, and it makes my life more difficult. I have been close to crying at least twenty times. If you are am organisation and want to use Microsoft, I strongly advise you not to. I am a student whose life is already difficult, and this authentication app may be my final straw. I strongly advise you not to use this terrible, terrible app. Save yourself. I have given this one star, but if I could give it zero, I would.

SUCKS
What a total waste of time, it just loops back to sign in again and again, and is so hard to delete. I am so sick of these hackers and tech companies making it impossible to access anything without jumping through a thousend hoops each time.
Mislead!
I was lead to believe that I needed this app in order to receive codes from a specific online portal. I’m not a business. I need to use this portal, but I’m not receiving its codes. This app did not fix the problem.
Worst Ever AND $3 a week cost!!
One of the most frustrating apps I have come across. I would consider myself fairly literate when it comes to the use of new software apps considering I've been in web development and a self taught php programmer for nearly 3 decades now about 2 years after it's initial realease in 1995. That being said this app is attrocious and to top it all off I just discovered within the past hour I have been paying $3 a week for it!! Not once have I actually gotten the damn thing to work once in over a month of having it installed. Horrible. And there is no clear way how to stop the weekly charges LOL.

Subscription for MAC?
Why do I have an extra subscription to use it on my Mac Pro if I pay a subscription for Office 365 and app in iPhone is free?

I had a software issue with this app and support says I am screwed and cannot recover the data

I have been locked out of my business email for over a week because the authenicator is stuck in a loop and there is no customer service support-beyond frustrating when Microsoft is a billion dollar company.
