I enjoy reading this magazine it has so much Great information to help better understand the Autism World. I would rather have a paper magazine like they used to be. I wish you would bring that back as an option.

Don’t give your child ABA therapy.

Now I’m not an autistic parent (I’m an autistic girl and I’ve been looking at autism apps when I just so happened to stumble across this one), but do not give your child ABA therapy. Even though it may seem OK, there are an alarming amount of kids who have been affected negatively by this therapy. Please, if you really like your child, do not give them ABA therapy. Blossomgrlycute out!

Not able to login and get the subscription restored-purchase from Apple account

This is really frustrating as despite re-installing several times, the same problem is persisting. I want my money back. This is a faulty app.

Not useful and greedy

I have subscribed to this 2 years ago and read maybe few articles since as it wasn’t quite useful in assisting my autistic kid. I got billed yesterday again for this year subscription and tried to cancel and get refund right away as I didn’t have any use of this product so far but they refused to refund the money as probably this is how they thrive on people forgetting about the subscription .

Waste of money

Paid for both the monthly subscription and the back logged issues. The app does not work at all and the website won’t let me access anything I’ve paid for so I’m not sure if this is a scam. I wish id read the other reviews about the app not working before I purchased anything

App does not work.

I have downloaded this app several times from the App. Store. It does not take me to a login page nor does it offer to forward me to the login.

I can only login from the browser!!

please seek help from the actual autistic community instead of this. most importantly, ABA Therapy is abuse. This magazine contains a lot of misinformation.

Thank you for expressing your concern about ABA, RibbonTwirler69. Our research has shown anxiety, depression and even suicide are disproportionally high in people with autism regardless of whether they received ABA therapy or not. The causes of this are often more attributed to feelings of isolation, communication challenges and difficulties finding and keeping meaningful employment which ABA can actually help with. Early intervention and ABA have also been advocated by Dr Temple Grandin who is autistic herself and attributes similar early interventions as key to her living her life's purpose and having a job she loves. While there are good and bad parts to ABA and even good and bad ABA therapists, we help parents find the right therapies and approaches for their child and choose to work with only the best providers. We cover much more than ABA in every magazine issue and believe every child needs a unique approach. Our goal with this publication is to improve quality of life and we provide many options for parents to choose.

There is no sign in, and the website is way more functional. This needs much more work to be useful.

Worst App! Stay Away, it’s a scam!

After reading all the reviews, I still went ahead and subscribed because I figured it was worth a try. I was COMPLETELY WRONG! First off, the app does not work. I paid a year subscription to not be able to access any of the issues. After contacting their “customer service” multiple times and receiving the worst service possible, I have realized the best I can do is just to warn others, since their “customer service” will resolve absolutely nothing. After reaching out to them and letting them know the app didn’t work (trust me, I tried EVERYTHING they said I had to do) and asking if I can just get a login through their website instead, they stated I would have to subscribe (AGAIN - meaning paying additional money) for an online login. It makes no sense, I already paid and have received ZERO access to any issue. Complete scam and rip off. Unacceptable.

Unusable iOS App with good articles

Similar issues with other users. Unable to download content via iOS. Signed up via web and was able to access content.

Horrible…

This app is horrible it will not let me load onto my device at all. It keeps popping up with a message saying connect to internet and I am. I can’t stand electronics.

Don’t waste your time they just want your money but won’t give you access to the material

It’s only one star cuz I can’t post this with out tapping a star I wish they had negative starts to tap!

I’ve contacted the company on 2 separate occasions trying to trouble Shoot their app so I can read what I paid for.. I’ve gone down that rabbit hole so many times doing exactly what they say I need to do to to get access to the paid material. It doesn’t work at all.! When I asked for a refund they tell me it’s pass the 30 days refund policy. They refused the give me a refund they kept sending me on a wild goose chase to try to trouble shoot the app so they could say I was no longer in the 30 days. As a parent with autism children my time is valuable I so t have time for this ring a round bull crap. What makes me more angry they claim to understand and want to help parents with autistic children but they don’t. They are just out to steal your money!

Wish app was as good as the customer service

It’s been so time consuming to access issues I’ve paid for on this app. Love the magazine, but not this iPhone app.

Don’t bother

What a disappointment. Very misleading. Nothing about this app is free. Just look at the magazine cover and google some of the topics that are on the front cover. You’ll find the same information for free :) you’re welcome.

Awareness of a available therapies is important

Autism Parenting Magazine provides information to parents that they may not be aware of. As with any publication, there are articles that offer advice and information that readers can choose to take on board or discard completely.
Giving negative reviews about the whole magazine, based on one particular topic, is unfair and negates all the excellent advice and informative articles the magazine provides to parents who are struggling with their children’s diagnosis and behaviours.

Always leaves me wanting more!

I love this magazine, there is so much good reading and the fact that it is written by parents/caregivers is a definite bonus. I know that if I’m working through a difficult period with our grandson, I will find the help I need in here. I would also like to have print issues but there are definite good points to having it only digital. I don’t misplace one before I’ve finished an article, someone can’t borrow it and not return it, the dog can’t play tug-of-war with it, and the kids can’t tip over a bowl of soggy cereal on it. One terrific magazine, and I do want more of it when I read it!
