An interactive social story on water safety. The official Autism Swim App has been created to introduce those with other abilities to water safety! Children on the Autism Spectrum are 160 times more likely drown than their peers. Autism Swim is here to change that! Autism Swim is an international social enterprise of experts specialising in wandering, water safety and swimming for those on the autism spectrum and with other abilities. 'Staying Safe Around the Water' has been developed by expert clinicians, parents of those with ASD/other abilities, neurodiverse adults and aquatic professionals. The App is an interactive social story teaching users how to respond in certain aquatic situations. It is the first and only App of its kind in the world.
