This need to be erased .... So insulting... my child has asperger's and it said " child has no autistic traits" this can give parents with serious concerns about their kids the wrong idea or answer :(

I answered the questions for my Five year old son and it came out he doesn't have any autistic traits which is odd as he was diagnosed with it two years ago!!

Not accurate
I did this test based on my brother who is 11yrs old -but acts more like he is 3yrs old because of his autism- and it gave him a score of 15 and said he only has 'autistic traits'. I then did the same test on myself (I am 15yrs old) and I got the same score even though I have not got autism. When I tried to answer as "autistic" as I could and still only got a score of 16. Rubbish.

All you who complain. Don't be so stupid. My 4yr old daughter is autistic and I has feelings she was since b4 she was 2yrs. It took doctors over 6 months to confirm. So what makes you think a free app replaces a doctor. If you read the in app info you will see a list of the most common signs and remember even doctors get it wrong. The answers you give are subjective so maybe let someone else try for you as most of us miss our own personal traits. This app turned out to be fairly accurate but not perfect I agree but who has has a exact precise diagnosis, which is why they call it the autism spectrum. D'oh

My 10 yo is definitely on the autism spectrum.
I answered the questions and "he has no autistic traits". What!!!
Just because a child can hold eye contact or has some imagination and not focused on math facts DOES NOT mean they don't have autism.
This app does not come close to helping any parents concerns.

Waste of time!!!!
My perfectly normal daughter came up with autistic traits while my clearly autistic son had no autistic traits???? Absolute garbage!!!
Horrible
This app just plays upon the fears of concern and scared parents. It no basis to diagnose or even allude to an autistic condition. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother to download this garbage. I'd give it zero stars if allowed.
Insulting
This is definitely a horribly insulting app. My two yr old daughter has autism and of course according to this test, she does not. I find this app offensive and a waste of time and money. If you think you or your child might have asd then go to a real doctor for an evaluation. Do not involve yourself in this garbage. Shame on you for attempting to take advantage of any uneducated person by scaring them into donating money!

SCORES ARE REVERSED!
Please fix this bug, so I can change the rating accordingly. It said my Child, diagnosed with high functioning autism had "NO autistic traits". So I went back and answered the questions as if he were a totally typical child, and voilà- he then had "autistic traits". SO the scoring system has been REVERSED by the programmer. Please fix this! Also, it should never say someone has NO autistic traits... it is a continuum and even if the scoring was set correctly someone could still "pass" while having some autistic Instead the words "likely does" or "likely doesn't" would be much more appropriate. IF the scoring bug is fixed I'll give it 4 stars as a screening tool. Of course diagnosis must come from a qualified professional, something this app never claimed to be.

This a joke and shouldn't be on the app store. A free, poorly made app and 40 questions can't tell you if someone has autism or not.
Besides, there are 5 types of autism:
Autism
Aspergers
CDD
PDD-NOS
Rett Syndrome
And the questions don't describe each kind. For example, the test may ask a few questions about aspergers and tell you that someone doesn't have autism, and then through a doctor you learn they have PDD-NOS. These developers obviously know nothing about the subject.
Ridiculous with inaccuate results. Get this out before it misleads parents and kids alike.
Plus the only reason it is 3 1/2 stars is because some people accidentally rated it 5 stars.
You can't diagnose a neurological condition with an iPod!!!!

This app is just plain wrong!
I have 2 kids. My oldest is a 7 yr old daughter with moderate functioning autism. I used this app to see what it said about her. It said she doesn't have autism!! This child is in a self-contained autism classroom at school because she can't even function in a typical classroom. Anyone who meets her can tell .... Yet this app said "no". My fear is that this app will give false hope to parents by telling them what they want to hear....that their child displays no autistic traits. Please do not use this app! Only one star because I can't give it zero stars.

Iv been diagnosed with autism so tried this app out in curiosity to find that it thinks I haven't even got autistic traits not impressed some one could be miss led and the questions I found a bit biased don't even try this app until its fixed
This is considered..an insult.
My brother has autism, and I personally think even having this app in the store is wrong. It is the most inaccurate, worst application you can possibly have. I didn't use the app to the full extent, but even just reading the reviews is enough for me. I may not be an expert, but my brother is one who would probably want this app to be non-exsistant.
Just having my opinion. Thanks for reading, and I'm not having any offense intended if there was any felt in any possible way. :)
Ps, I am hoping for a cure in the near future.

impresise
I had a freind who had autism its difficult and that is why it is so good there are people and who can do something to help. The only problem is the only awnser it gives is that you have some symptoms and you should see a doctor when a few of the questions could be awnsered as so because the person has poor social skills not any problem.

My son has ASD
I quite like the test as it does ask relavent questions but it said my son did not have autistic traits and he was diagnosed 2 years ago. For the record, my son spoke before he was 2 years old and has above average language skills. He is very literal with his language though and does not get jokes etc. His reading is also above grade level. Autism 'Spectrum' means all kids are at different levels. They are not all the same and this is why the word 'spectrum' is used. Language is not Always a barrier, Social skills are my son's biggest barrier.
