Absolutely what I needed
I’m an avid motorcyclist and I’ve been wanting an app like this ever since I installed a CarPlay device on my bike. Many CarPlay host devices don’t have a display sleep function. But when I’m just on a joyride or when I’m vlogging, I don’t want to see much on the screen. Likewise, when I’m editing my videos, I love my screen not being a distraction with lots of content on it. I found this app after a discussion happened with the developer on Reddit - he announced the app shortly after and here I am. Thanks Drew!
That said, I’d happily pay for a paid version if it had a little more customization:
-Custom background colors (default is grey, but I’d love to totally black out the screen)

CarPlay too bright at night
This app solves a problem I didn’t know I would have. Driving at night CarPlay was distractingly bright. After a deep dive on Reddit I found this app developer who was creating this app. Its sole purpose is to give you a black screen while on CarPlay so you can still listen to music. This app solves this problem beautifully. Much appreciated
