About
It is simply a bus stop announcement app. When the bus approaches a bus stop, it announces "arriving" bus stop and "next" bus stop.
Probably, you have already seen the bus stop announcement system in many public vehicles. Normally, such system uses a hardware which processes GPS signal along with bus route geographical data and announces bus stop information via speaker often with LED or TV monitor as well.
This app simply replaces such hardware by using iPhone GPS signal and by communicating with our server for dynamically downloading all necessary info like bus route geographical data, audio files for bus stop names and audio files for any special announcement. For audio announcement, it uses "Bluetooth" speaker. For visual announcement, it uses "LED" display via dedicated WiFi.
Since the app estimates the current bus location, it also uploads its location info to our another "TRACK" server via Cellular
for "TRACK" service showing all buses realtime locations. We have prepared such app, called "Autobus CDMX".
Hence, this app is only for the bus lines who have subscribed NK MEDIA's SmartBus service, but the tracking app "Autobus CDMX" is open to public.
