Have enjoyed this starter on two vehicle's over 10 years. No trouble at all. Sorry to hear it will be discontinued next year.
This app is garbage
I downloaded the app, entered all of the details and instead of getting stats on where my son’s car is located, I get a black screen. When I close out the screen and get a map, it lands on Canada, but we are in the IS. When I Zoom in, it shows the car at home, BUT HE IS NOT HOME! This app provides ZERO info! I am so angry right now for paying $58 to activate this dumb app! 😡

Apparently they are not continuing with auto connect l
So I found out when I went to reorder a ac202gps that certified tracking is no longer supporting autoconnect. Just a heads up once your contract is up you’ll have to switch to a new gps based starter because they are shutting down autoconnect

It’s been 2 months still being billed and I can’t get it to work at all. App crashes when I click on “About”

This app really looks and feels like it was written 10 years ago. it is in desperate need of updating. Having said that, it starts my car. Period. That’s really all I bought it for. But whenever I ask for other information, such as battery status or temperature I only get a response about 1/4 of the time. That’s pretty lousy. Please update the app. It needs to be modernized. Your competition offers things like Apple Watch support, a better interface, and similar pricing. You’ve really fallen behind with this one.

I’m cancelling my subscription. It works maybe half the time. Maybe. I have to keep calling them torefresh my account to make it work. Ridiculous.
Today I did a test. I sent an unlock command to my car. Keeping my phone screen on the whole time, it took 9 minutes and 38 seconds before the command was executed in my car. That makes this thing basically useless.
Old app design. Slow to connect to my car. Only receives commands some of the time so I can’t rely on it. This service is an epic fail.

It doesn’t work now!!
When I purchased this starter it was great, then after the first year it was very intermittent. Now after 2-1/2 years it doesn’t even work!!! Look at other brands for WAY less money !!

Half the time the app doesn’t work
More often than not the app does not connect to my car and I get different errors. I have been back to the installation company several times and even reinstalled a brand new piece and still, connection issues allllll the time.
Not impressed
I have had my auto connect since I bought my vehicle 4 years ago. When I first purchased the pro duct it worked consistently for approximately 2 years and since then I have had to call customer service for assistance and re download the app to get it connected again.
I work evenings and when I try to start my vehicle expecting it to start because of the cold winter nights like last night it would not start.
I know it has worked consistently when I first purchased it not anymore!

Pointless update
The new update makes the whole console smaller, so it doesn’t fit properly on my screen.
Why doesn’t it show on the main screen what time is left in the remote start timer? Or at least the time it was started?
The sound is makes when you start your car interrupts your music and takes over. It makes a sound even when your phone is on silent which is super annoying when you’re with clients or in a quiet space.
So many improvements that should be made, and in 3 years of using the app there’s been nothing but new crashes.

Why does this app copy and erase my clipboard every time I open it? You have NO reason to copy my clipboard contents.
