I’ve been reading Auto Sport for 60 years and I not inclined to renew my subscription.

Poorly designed
Ok it’s less buggy lately but the notifications simply don’t work. When you do get them it just opens the mobile site so you have to log in to view it. Has this thing even been tested??
Great Content if You Can Access it!
I pay for this and it makes me log in every time you want to read a “plus” story when when I tick “remember me”. Absolutely no response when you try to log a problem with the publisher too. A real shocking way to be treated when I contribute to their wage!
Frustrating
I’ve been a subscriber to this app since 2011. In 2020, I could no longer access the app. It was looking for a subscription number. I couldn’t find it, and no one at Autosport seems to know how to fix it, or maybe they just don’t care. I can still access their site on my PC, the app is simply garbage to me.

So unhappy
If have subscribed for years but continue to have issues and when I contact you you do nothing. Every time I try to down load an edition it has logged me out. I log in and it says subscribe. I know I’m subscribed so I hit retore. It either logs me in or tries to charge me again by offering a 1 month or 12 month subscription. I either keep persisting a few times until I give up or it finally realises i have a valid subscription and tells me it’s restored. On numerous occasions i have just paid for a month by accident assuming it would recognise my subscription only to discover it doesn’t and charges me again. As it seems to suggest it will be a recurring monthly charge I get SO FRUSTRATED that I cancel the monthly subscription immediately AS I OFTEN HAVE A VALID YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION. I can’t tell you the number of times I have had a valid yearly subscription and still been charged for a weekly edition when I request to download one!!!! I love your magazine but I am beyond frustrated. I demand someone check my account and refund any charge for a stand-alone weekly download normally $5.99 or a charge for a monthly subscription while I have had a valid yearly subscription at the time. I have contacted you 4 times at least about this issue to never once receive a refund, a sensible reply with a solution or a refund. To be clear after you arrange the refund IF you can resolve this I still want to find a solution that means I can simply download each week’s edition without risk of paying simply and without fuss. Don’t risk your money!
The app stopped adding new issues halfway through a paid subscription. The support desk ignored my efforts to contact them.
A disgrace
How can a publisher who claims to be "The world's leading motorsport authority" put it's name to such an appalling app. Almost 100% one star reviews make it clear that something needs to be done. The same complaints month after month & still no response. The current digital editions of Autosport are available from other sites so what possible excuse can you have.

Pleas sort the app
Posting a bit of help for everyone else who seems stuck in the same position of this awful app. If you have a digital subscription and a Mac computer you can download the magazine via the website and then air drop the pdf to your phone and read in the Apple Books application. Not ideal but works.

Rubbish
I tried this again and it’s still rubbish. Due to COVID-19 I tried to purchase the current issue. The process said success then “Oops Fail”. I closed the app & checked my card and no purchase there. Back in the app I tried again and it said “Repeat purchase”!! Aaaarghhhh. How much money are you guys losing? It’s a fantastic magazine and the staff working on it deserve better than this load of bollox. Time to delete the app again and try again in 12 months maybe......

Not working on iOS 14
The app has always been unstable but is not working at all on iOS 14. Developer support appears non existent

I would love to read Autosport but find it impossible with this app.

Hopeless
The app doesn’t update and show the latest issues, the latest issue I can get is 4 weeks old. I have emailed for assistance but no reply after 2 weeks. I’m sure Autosport aren’t keen on missing out on sales because of the app.
Why would I subscribe to THIS?
I love the magazine and would like to subscribe to the digital version, but the lag in making current issues available on the app makes that pointless.
I’m writing this on 25th September, and the latest issue available is the 3rd September issue with the Spa report. Three issues are or have been on shop shelves but are not available to read on the app, and I’ve no interest in subscribing to a package that would mean I’d be reading race reports 2 or 3 weeks (or more) after the event.
My other magazine apps upload their issues on the day of retail release. That’s the standard, and anything else is unacceptably poor.

Garbage
This app is an absolute disgrace. I have to keep re-registering and even then it randomly decides it is not downloading. A total waste of money.
App stopped updating
Cannot get any issues after 30th April, contacted pixelmags twice, no response. DO NOT BUY OR SUBSCRIBE, would be my suggestion, if this is the level of support.
Woeful support and app
Now we have no magazine and frankly no on line as I cannot access my subscription. No solutions and no one has a clue how to sort out when you call the service centre located in Johannesburg!

Come on! 2 years and no changes. Since whatever happened to the website in early March 2020 I’ve not been able to login to the app.
Do not buy this under any circumstances!
The other negative reviews understate how bad the situation is—having paid £99.99 I can’t access any content, and support will not answer emails. In my opinion, Apple should remove this app immediately from the store. Apple are not much help either, to be honest, and provide no way of complaining about publishers like this one, who are doing their level best to bring the app store into total disrepute. I should add that if you have the Autosport Plus sub it is worth turning the auto renew off, because the feed has become unavailable and yet the developer is still taking cash. This situation is absolutely unacceptable.
