Downloaded to check for great deals but when the terms window pops up it won’t let you scroll down and accept the terms. I guess I will keep using car gurus

Useless

Never seemed to properly work numerous times i would go on different apps or websites too find vehicles. Then jump over to auto tempest to see if this app would find it and it never would. Would genuinelynot show me like 40+ vehicles in my area that were on other services. It would just tell me oh maybe change some of your settings. Absolute waste of time.

I was searching multiple place to find a vehicle until I came across this site through a YouTuber (Christi’s) I follow. This has saved me so much time and I am finally finding what I was looking for.

Too generic

The filters are unfortunately not advanced enough to give refined results. You have to wade through hundreds of options which lack specific features or trim levels that you want, which is a huge waste of time. After a five minute test, I’ll be uninstalling.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. You're touching on a real challenge we're actively working to improve. Because we aggregate listings from thousands of dealers, trim and feature data isn't always structured consistently across sources, which can make filtering less precise than we'd like. We do currently offer a trim keyword search filter that can help narrow results, but we know that's not as seamless as selecting specific trim levels directly. That more structured approach is something we're actively investigating. Do NOT download AutoTempest

Downloaded AutoTempest, interface is extremely outdated, the app ended up taking me into a browser where I though I was selecting which models to look at, next thing I know I’m receiving 20 calls at once from dealers all over the state, this has been a daily nightmare for the last two weeks. My mailbox filling up every day, having to block dozens of numbers. Tried to find a way to opt out of all this in AutoTempest and there is no option, customer service is of no help, says it’s on me to figure this out. Your app and customer service truly sucks.

Makes no sense

I’ll never understand the idiocy of not being able to look in my own area. If I choose a distance it’s at least 25 miles or FURTHER. Not closer. If I remove the distance, it’s random but still may not be in my area. I’m getting into car flipping. I wanna shop in the Chicago area, not Virginia. That’s incredibly stupid, in my opinion.

If you choose a distance of 25mi., we show you results within that search area first (if any), though we do show results outside of that area as well - displayed in a separate section below a header with text like 'Results beyond 25mi'. However! You can turn off the inclusion of results outside of your search area. At the top of the results list, tap 'Sources' (beside 'Sort'), uncheck the 'Show results beyond search distance' option, and tap 'Update'. This setting will be remembered between searches. Thanks to your feedback, we're looking at ways to make these details more intuitive - but hopefully this helps in the meantime. Remembers My Searches

I like the way Auto Tempest polls and collects cars from the other major search engines and then remembers my searches. It has really cut down my time spent plugging info into some search bar.

My go to car app

AutoTempest is my go to car finding app. I would love to be able to search multiple brands at once. Example I’m looking for q Chevy/GM truck would be nice to be able to select up more than one make and model at a time, or limit the search to specific makes

Black Screen Bug For Me!!

I have been using this app for years 10/10 recommend. But lately I've been use the website but the mobile app for me give me a black screen. I restart me phone and force quick the app still nothing is working for me now

This may be a result of a long period of inactivity after initial installation (a bug that we're currently working on addressing!). The best car search aggregator

Instead of hopping around across a ton of different websites, AutoTempest just collects all the listings. The filters work really well, and the UI is intuitive and easy to use.
