New update ruined it
Hi, long time user of autotrader. I have never had to leave a review on an app before but the new user interface is frankly terrible. Nothing wrong with the old version!!! Aint broke dont fix it….

New Update Is A Shambles
I love Autotrader, it’s fantastic. However, the new update including the new UI is absolutely terrible, it’s confusing, laggy and an all round unpleasant browsing experience. Certainly not exactly what I’d expect from a massive organisation that deals with so many cars and customers every single day. Please bring the old design back, or at least give us the option to change it back to how it was before! Thanks

New update bad
Update ruined the app.
So much bloat, slow loading times, awkward and unnatural menus, horrible navigation, blah, blah, blah. Was totally fine before hand and just changed everything ever so slightly to make it a complete hassle to even browse nevermind purchase and enquire. Change it back to how it was, remove the unnecessary slop and speed up the loading times (just undo the “update” which was really just a downgrade of a totally fine and flawless system) and bang - all good.

Terrible app update
IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT!!! Terrible update takes twice as long searching for a car now with absolutely unnecessary menu selection screens. PUT IT BACK TO THE OLD VERSION!!!!!!

What on earth have you done to the app? The complete IA structure change, the huge cards that now don’t fit in the view port. The list goes on
What did the round of UT say about this?
It’s a very simple roll back that is needed.
But the product manager will no doubt wait till conversion drops to wonder why their “amazing” new app experience isn’t working.

Please revert back! New layout is awful!
Don’t Update the App!
The latest Auto Trader update (7.55) has made the app much more complicated and frustrating to use. Searching for cars is harder, and the specifications section is especially confusing compared with the old version.
The previous version was much simpler, clearer and easier to navigate. This update feels like a step backwards.
If you haven’t updated yet, don’t update! The old version was much better.

Poor update
Very poor update - now more clicks to do the same search as before - why change what worked so well
Poor filtering options
Will not let me search multiple makes and models all at once. Only allows one make and model at a time making searching very poor and frustrating. A huge step backwards.

The car are overpriced and contacting sellers is hard
Old version was better
Been using this app for many years but the new update isn’t great. Now it takes so many more clicks to filter what you want. Also why can’t you choose several models of a particular car. Ie I’m looking for a sport line Skoda but can’t look for sport lined or sport line plus unless I go back and change the search.
So long winded to find what you want as you either have to look at all models or go through this waste of time to select models.
It’s obvious the techie people test this and not end users.

Glitch and bugs
Since last update it won’t recognise my postcode and even when it does every time you search a car and go to another make it clears the postcode and goes back to National for distance, please fix ASAP, how come when you put in max distance say 20 miles it always comes up with cars that are 259 miles away, this needs sorting out it should be just up to max distance you put in

Always user friendly and continuously upping its game. Multiple model selection would be welcome under manufacturer.

No idea who is giving this 5 stars not a single message for £25 no one is using this app it’s all fake save your money and post on Facebook or gumtree
