What's New in AutoX Data Logger

1.34

June 25, 2026

This update is all about giving you more access and flexibility with the data. Support for iCloud syncing and VBO file exporting! New * iCloud syncing across devices. Record data on an iPhone and analyze the data on a larger screen with your iPad. * VBO file exporting. Allowing you to analyze data on a desktop with the CircuitTools app or create custom video overlays with RaceRender. Exported VBO file contains instructions on how to export/rename videos manually. Changes * Updates to the sensor fusion algorithm for better reliability . * Adds some patience for speed based auto stopping. * Decreased max video export length from 2 minutes to 90 seconds (prevents older iPhones from crashing on long video exports). * Removes the setting flag for start/finish parsing. The app will now always attempt to parse runs if start/finish lines are present. It will save both parsed and unparsed data by default. Fixes * Prevent ELM327 packet drops from interrupting entire data stream * Video sync bug

A really good start!

I box a Race box mini. The app RaceBox has is terrible. It’s like they’ve never done Autocross before. This app is leagues better just in the fact that you can set individual start/Fin points without needing to be driving at 3+mph!

Suggestion for development: add G forces to analytics so when comparing two runs you can see which run had better G’s at certain corners.

As well, the addition of a live delta comparison would be great. (green light your going faster, red light you’re going slower)

Excellent mapping a course. Makes this the best Autocross app.

Finally got time off work to autocross. Got to use the app. I had an issue where I had not set the start cones properly so I had to manually start the timing. I would just hit the record runs option as I started. Love the app the mapping of the cones is awesome. I had to make the course today so I have put the cone layout into GoogleEarth so we can print out a course map for future use.
The auto start feature makes this app super easy to use.
Loving the app.

The best Autox and track day app

I use this every time I’m at the track. The dev is great and listens to feature requests. The app is great as is but I’m excited to see where it goes!
