Incorrect instructions RX-A8A
The wiring depicted for a 7.1 plus zone 2 & 3 is not accurate. It correctly shows the wiring for the main 7.1 and zone 2, but fails to show where wiring for zone 3 should be input.

L’app ne fonctionne pas, elle paraît d’un autre temps et ne trouve pas mon appareil sur le réseau local, en conséquence il m’est impossible le de l’utiliser pour configurer automatiquement l’ampli.

Worked for me
I spent a lot of time trying to get receiver set up and had to reset to defaults a couple of times before trying this app. Wish I hadn’t read the negative reviews and used it sooner. Stepped through it and all works now. Maybe it doesn’t work for everyone but it did for me.

J’ai tester comme si j’étais novice alors que non, et franchement c’est pas mal ça évite à ceux qui ne connaissent pas de rentrer dans les menus complexes de l’ampli « pour un novice » pour faire les réglages.

Ich betreibe den RX-A3080 mit einer externen Endstufe (Yamaha M60). Das hierfür nötige Setup ist nicht enthalten. Schade...

Did not set up the system !
I used this to configure my system with my TV using HDMI (ARC) and after going through all the steps it did not work!! The app did not provide the necessary guidance to resolve the issue.. I finally found the solution on my own using the online manual, after an hour of trying to figure it out .
