No option to import passwords? No 2FA? Only extension App due to discontinued MacOS/Win11 App?

Is your answer to all above questions yes?

Encrypted , Builds confidence and trust

Excellent professional service you can trust. Works well on multiple devices, too. If there’s a problem or questions, their FAQs are helpful and easy to follow plus Cutomer service is always available both online and vi phone.

Migration locked me out and I no longer have access to any of my stored passwords.

Was never alerted of any sort of migration to a new app. They provide no support for recovery unless you were able to link to a windows PC. The app was removed from the App Store and no longer opens, meaning I am unable to access or recover any of my hundreds of passwords. Makes me feel silly I don’t just use the built in Apple passwords app instead. No help at all.

What does Avast Password Manager do?

Avast Password Manager securely stores all your passwords, credit card details, addresses, and other sensitive information in a digital vault. It simplifies your online experience by automatically filling in login credentials and generating strong, unique passwords to protect you from cyber threats.

How does the app secure my data?

The app uses end-to-end, zero-knowledge encryption, meaning only you can access your data. It also offers two-factor authentication for an extra layer of security, ensuring that even Avast cannot access your vault. This helps protect your information from hackers and cybercriminals.

Is Avast Password Manager free to use?

The app offers a free version, but it may have limitations on the number of entries you can store. Existing entries are not affected by these limitations. For unlimited storage and advanced features, users may consider premium options if available.

Can I import my existing passwords?

What are the benefits of using a password manager like this?

Using this password manager eliminates the need to remember numerous complex passwords. It enhances your online security by creating strong, unique passwords for each site and automatically filling them in, while also detecting and alerting you to weak passwords.
