Horrible

It freezes all the time, and you have to restart the device often. 🤦🏼‍♂️ if I would have known this I would chosen a different aac app!!

Constantly freezes and stops speaking.

I hate this app. I rated it one star but it shows as if I’ve rated if four stars for some reason. I hate this app so much. It randomly and frequently freezes. We have to restart it all the time because it just stops speaking which is literally the entire point of this dumb app. We were able to download it on to the fire tablet but it’s a lot of work and there are constant errors using it (not recognizing my profile on two devices at once, freezing). You have to manually download back ups and then upload them to transfer across devices. It just takes a lot of work to be functional despite the high cost. We paid for the lifetime membership so we seem to be stuck with it even though I am constantly reaching out to tech support and have asked for a refund.

The Best

Simply the best AAC app out there. My son is autistic/non-verbal and with Avaz we have had our first communication with him since his first regression. We couldn't be happier!

Avaz

One of the best full-featured AAC apps on the market in my opinion. Practice sessions included make this app unique and easy to learn. High contrast, changing icon size, variety of vocabulary choices, zoom and search features make this app a "must-have" for an SLP trialling AAC with students. The developer is very receptive to feedback and app is continuously improving.

Don’t like mandatory sign in with new update… We are managing many for a school district. Change it back so that is in options.
