Outdated and difficult to use

Really outdated. A sure way to aggravate your pilots. There are much better solutions on the market (Jepp, Comply 365, WSI, etc). It’s a shame the developers of this app couldn’t see into the future and modernize this app beyond the early 2000s.

Like the other reviews say, it’s obscenely difficult to view pdf documents as it doesn’t index searches, it’s clunky, the form filling function is tedious to use. There is no way to export to a third party PDF viewer like Acrobat (which Avdoc isn’t even in the same league).

The organization of documents is ridiculous, making finding documents difficult.

The acknowledgment section is difficult to use, resulting in low compliance from pilots.

The app frequently crashes, resulting in filled flight releases deleting themselves.

There is no function to autofill times across flight releases, a feature standard on ever other comparable software package. This makes for cumbersome, time consuming, and error prone time and fuel checks.

Uploads to the server frequently fail.

I’ve never seen a pilot happy with this software, I imagine the only reason management would enjoy it is the price must be out of this world. I have a hard time believing this software meets any sort of regulatory requirement.

A curse on pilots

Cannot auto-populate forms, takes multiple clicks to achieve a simple task, freezes, deletes FP during flight, menus not intuitive, doesn’t index searches therefore searches take minutes. Horrible. It’s super suspicious there are positive reviews on this app as everyone at our company despises this app.

Aircraft Commander N458FX

It’s awesome that it’s an all in one place to go to for information.

Very slow, has the right idea but app is very buggy and slow. Always has been.
