Airport weather. The WPT page now shows the METAR and TAF for an airport, with its flight category and the age of the report. Airfields that do not report their own weather fall back to the nearest reporting station, and say so. Flight recording. The new LOG page records your track and keeps recording with the screen locked. Past flights are listed with their time, distance and maximum altitude, and can be exported as CSV or GPX. Your own waypoints. You can now create, edit and delete user waypoints. Temporary waypoints delete themselves after 48 hours, and +USR WPT captures your present position in a single tap. Coordinate format. POSITION FRMT sets degrees, degrees and minutes, or degrees, minutes and seconds, for both entry and display, matching the format shown on a panel GPS. Coordinates are now typed on the numeric keypad. Vertical speed and diagnostics. INERTIAL VS is an optional accelerometer-aided vertical speed that reacts faster to a level-off. The new DIAG page draws live graphs of GPS filtering, altitude and vertical speed. Traffic and guidance. Traffic from X-Plane is shown when GPS SOURCE is set to X-PLANE. NAV2 gained a guidance label along the top, with a handle to show or hide it. The settings page has been tidied and now offers RESET ALL SETTINGS. Fixes. User waypoints created from the destination field or from FIND WPT were not saved and were lost after the flight. DIRECT TO turn anticipation was computed toward the previous destination. Navaid symbols vanished at the edges of the map instead of being clipped. X-Plane traffic no longer blinks, handles batched messages, and explains an empty feed. The waypoint entry page no longer cuts the NAME and TEMP labels short.
