The sanitation phone message says you can report when yard waste isn’t picked up through this app. The app directs you back to the phone number.

Helpful reminders, does as expected
I get a reminder the evening before pickup day letting me know what goes out to the curb the next day, and if I’m wondering whether it’s recycling week or not I can open the app. No ads or nags, just a well-built app that reminds me to take out the trash, answers my questions, and otherwise leaves me alone. There were helpful features and communication during the Helene disaster as well. I appreciate having this app available & I hope it’s maintained. Good job, AVL.

The messages I get from the app helps me keep up to date on trash/recycling/yard waste pickups. Also, during a holiday week, it helps me get my trash out on the correct day.

Actual times would be nice
With bears in such abundance this year, it would be good to know when the pickup will be so i can minimize exposure to upended garbage cans strewed all over the hillside. Collection is never the same time from week to week. Put a gps locator on the trucks so we can know when pickup will happen and act accordingly.
