The third party company they used to build this app is clearly incompetent
1. They didn’t even offer an accurate description for the app. It’s so in Chinese and advertising the app manufacturer instead of Avocado. Even the company attributed to this app is the third party agency instead of Avocado itself
2. You have to choose which bed you want to control every time you open the app, ignoring the fact that most people only have one bed!
3. The alarm feature doesn’t work. You can’t even set the alarm without getting a “choose a feature” error message
4. The layout of the control buttons is a copy paste of the physical remote. Physical reboots have restrictions that apps don’t! Any competent designer could have made something much better
I hope Avocado gives control of this app to a competent development agency to fix. Their attention to detail is usually so much better, which makes it sting even more in this case

App doesn’t work
When we first got our eco adjustable base, the base paired fine with my iPhone, but when I got a new phone, the app quit working. I uninstalled and reinstalled and I can’t even get to the place to pair with my phone. This app blows.
Not functional for split twin
There are no instructions for how to pair the phone with two split twin bases that have been programmed to operate the two bases simultaneously. So the app only controls the left or right base, not both simultaneously.
Works but no privacy policy and not secured
App functions for a basic remote replacement but with a few concerns. No real privacy policy is linked. It links to a website in Chinese when translated. Security flaw where anyone with the app nearby can connect and control your device. The QR code doesn’t matter at all I was able to control two beds without issue. App is very barebones and has poor UI that does not reflect Avocado’s quality and attention to detail that is expected.
