Terrible support for a broken app, and I’m losing trust in the company
So I purchased this and after reaching out to support about a critical issue THREE separate times, I’ve yet to hear back even an acknowledgment of anything at all. My issue is similar to another 1 star user here, and it makes the app completely broken. I’m just wasting my time trying to get this to work, while the year I paid upfront slowly becomes less and less useful. Part of me honesty is starting to think that this app is just a scam

Crashes frequently; can’t add synced accounts
The app locked up during setup. When I got back in, I tried to add synced accounts but each time I click the button to pick a financial institution, I’m presented with a blank white screen with no option. I’m forced to close and start again. I tried several institutions and got the same. Even removed and reinstalled the app. I realize I can reach out to support, but honestly my time is worth more. If someone can’t even get past initial setup, I think that speaks volumes of the quality of the app. Even some error feedback rather than a blank screen would have been better. At this point, I cannot recommend this app.

Useless app trying to get you to pay for their subscription
I tried avocado finance app due to MyPoints deal for new users who try this app. unfortunately, the MyPoints deal mentions nothing about having to enroll in a trial subscription. And also the MyPoints deal didn’t track for me. So this Avocado Finance app was a total waste of my time.
Needs to be fixed. Can’t even start.
I can’t even start. I type my name and type my email but the continue button is grayed out no matter what…
Many favorite PFM app
Used this app for a week and it’s my favorite. My favorite thing is being able to see my future finances. I get that it’s an estimate but still love the fact that I am budgeting to build my wealth
I use it every day
I have multiple banks connected and I love that I can see everything in one place. Super clean and simple UI which kind of reminds me of Robinhood
Can’t get past setup question. No option to go forward after the 3rd or 4th question.
Cant even get past set up. I get to the part of where it asks how much your utilities are after how much you pay for rent question. Well all I can see is about four or five options that asks you to enter the amount for each utility once you fill out the four or five questions the numeric keyboard is still there and you don’t see anything else in the continue button finish nothing. I tried to log onto the website but there’s not even an option to log onto the website. so it remains a two until I can get past set up and actually see how the app is but so far I don’t understand why this is happening.

Like it so far but needs subscription tracker
Being able to see my financial future is a game changer for me. I know it’s based on assumptions but still. I would like to see a subscription tracker though. I like seeing all my bills in one place. Truebill offers this.

Great PFM app for planning
This app is different (in a good way) because I can see how much cash I can expect to have in the future. I want to buy a car next year and I know when I can buy it. Super helpful~
Genuinely excited to use
This is probably the first personal finance app I have seen that makes me feel smart about my money. The “forecast” feature is something I haven’t seen before and it makes me feel like I am managing my money right. Love it so far. One request I have is to add a subscriptions tracker, that would be useful to see

Unsupported Platform
Unfortunately my platform is not supported. I have been a long time user of Personal Capital and looking to take a deeper diver. Unfortunately M1 Finance is not supported. Hoping this changes.
It doesn’t work
I downloaded this app and I haven’t been able to link my bank account. The screen goes blank and it doesn’t do anything.

This app was recommended to me by my friend. After using it over a week, I could say avocado finance is very clean and well made. Let’s be honest, they are few apps out there that is very similar to avocado finance. But after trying out many different apps I could say avocado wins my heart. One of the best thing I could talk about this app is the fact that the ui is so neat and clean. Also it is very easy for me to navigate. With so many different apps out there, the other apps always have so many ads and they always try to tell me to get loans or different credit cards. I don’t need all those extra ads! I just want to see my finance situation nicely so I can prepare for the future and be responsible of my spending. And this is where avocado finance is shining the most. Everything is very well organized and clean looking. And I don’t have to click so many different taps or buttons to see my finance informations. Linking to my bank account and my Robinhood account was easy and quick as well. So overall, I am very satisfied with what this app is offering. I just need to see my current and future forecast of financial status. And Avocado Finance app is fantastically good at that.
