Access to resort
It would be useful to have information about the access road into the resort, if it’s blocked, needing chains, etc
OK but not the best
Just back from a two resort holiday a week in Les Arcs with heavyweights snow and poor visibility made enjoyable by a great App. Followed by a week in Avoriaz with brilliant weather and snow. Comparing the two resort Apps. Les Arcs wins hands down for ease of use and features.
Totally over engineered
This app is primarily used for receiving information, such as lift opening times and status. This information is the same regardless on who you are. Despite this, the app has a compulsory login page, where you can only access the app by putting in a username and password, despite the app not storing any information about you. This pointless login process would not be too bad if it worked. Unfortunately it often doesn’t, and despite using the Sign in with Apple feature, meaning I don’t need to remember a password, the login often fails and returns an error, meaning I cannot use the app the whole day. The login section should not be compulsory. The app also requires you to have location sharing all the time, even when not using the app, but it does not even show your location on the piste map. There seems to be no reason for it to need your location ll the time. The only thing you need location for is geolocation for the emergency services, but good luck using this, as if the login system is not working, you cannot call the mountain rescue. Overall a promising app, but with terrible design choices
