Great app for controlling and tweaking your Denon or Marantz AVR

It’s great being able to tweak all the settings of my Marantz Cinema 50 without having to go through the on screen menu layers of the AVR. Developer is very responsive and actively improving the app. I made a request for assignable keyboard shortcuts for the MacOS version and the dev implemented it straight away for next update.

Nice addition to my 2 Denon receivers x3700h and x1800h easy switching!

Enjoying the app! Easy switching between multiple receivers as well. Constantly updating features and abilities. Meir Miyara has been super responsive and helpful with any and all technical questions! Great communication through user groups dedicated to new user’s!

Best App I have for audio. So easy to use and manage your Denon and Marantz products. Highly recommended. Really it’s a no brainer

Wonderful execution but…

Update: Thank you for the follow up and update. The app has been stable the last couple weeks! Back to loving it and changed the rating to 5 star.


I downloaded this app shortly after its release. There are so many things I like better about this than the Denon Marantz AVR Remote. Graphics are far superior, many functions take fewer clicks and less menu searching. The volume presets are handy.

The big ‘however’ is that it loses connection with the receiver on a regular basis. Deleting the receiver then adding it restores functionality. This hassle has me returning to the AVR remote. I understand the developer is quite responsive with updates. I’ll update the review rating to a 5 star if this issue gets resolved.

Also, could you please send me the debug log after it happens so I can see what happened and fix it. Join our Facebook or discord community so we can solve this. Amazing controller app

Brilliant app! The attention to the details and specific control users was are all included. This gives the insight that I usually have to go into deep menus to find. Absolutely essential for all Marantz and Denon owners!

Decent alternative but not 100% dialed in

Good alternative to the free Denon companion app. Things I like: much more user friendly layout with easier access to features that are otherwise nested in many layers of menus in the companion app. The way its setup makes it much easier to do AB testing as well. Things I don’t like: the channel out is displaying the wrong channels, for example my FHL is showing up as FWL, and my RHR is showing up as FDR. One of my subwoofers is missing from the surround sub-menu. The channel volume control menu is actually the channel level adjust in the options menu, it’s not the main channel level gain that’s in the setup menu. There’s a high pass filter option and Im not even really sure what that’s there for as there’s not HPF option in the Denon crossover and subwoofer control menu.

Better than Denon UI App

Developer is quick to reply, listens to customers, hands on, better and friendlier to use than Denon UI App. Delveloper always updating!
