About
Is today a Go?
A forecast tells you the wind speed. Aweigh tells you whether to go. It rates each hour against your vessel and your own limits, for your location.
SET YOUR LIMITS
Name what you take out: a day sailer, a cruiser, a fishing boat, a kayak. Then set the wind, wave height and chance of rain you are willing to accept. A sailboat can set a minimum wind as well as a maximum. Choose if you want an all day reading or just sunrise to sunset.
READ THE VERDICT
One stamp at the top of the screen: GO or NO-GO. Tap "Why?" and it shows you relevant details.
FIND YOUR WINDOW
Every hour has its own verdict, so a good run of weather has a clear start and a clear end. You can see if the day's conditions are good for as long as you want to be out.
DAILY OUTLOOK
Pick an hour, and Aweigh sends you the verdict for your home port and your default vessel: GO or NO-GO, and the best window of the day.
WHAT IS ON THE SCREEN
• Wind, gusts and the Beaufort force, hour by hour

YOUR HARBOR, OR WHERE YOU ARE
Use your current location, type any place, or save your own ports. Aweigh shows where each number comes from: the tide station, the weather model and how far away each one is.
