Mostly functional
This app is excellent for the basics- It has a fairly clear map of the convention areas. The schedule is clear and fairly easy to navigate. All guests and events appear to be listed.
Some functions are a little buggy. Navigating from guest bios to their schedule page sometimes glitches and lands you on a blank page, requiring users to close app and reopen it to make additional attempts at navigating to the desired page. The links to make purchases have the same issue; in one instance, the photo op I purchased appeared on my bank balance, yet no corresponding record of the transaction was transmitted to the convention employees charged with verifying the sales.
It would also be helpful to have guests listed in categories when applicable, instead of solely in alphabetical order. For example, many of the notable guests at this convention are cast members of the show Firefly. Having the option to view their bios and schedules on the same page would eliminate the need to page back and scroll through the main guest list.

2026 version scheduling is awful
I’ve been coming to Awesome Con since its inception and the app has changed a lot since then. In some ways it’s improved but the biggest function in a Convention app is helping you schedule what you want to see and do. This version splits that into 4 separate areas and if you want to see autographs, games, and panels you have to go into each one separately. So very very annoying.

Great Content, but NOT Con Floor-Friendly
I appreciate all of the effort to add in all the information fit the convention, but all of the scheduling options are buried under tiny links that are simply not easy to navigate for someone on the go or in cosplay. I would appreciate a large button visible from the home page of the app that directly links to the personalized schedule, instead of having to tap through 3-5 screens every time I open the app. Makes it nearly useless for me once I am in cosplay Saturday/Sunday.

Worst Con App Ever
No schedule? Really? You have to hunt to find the programming. When you find it and push on it; and try to go back to where you were, it takes you to the previous day. Someone should be fired seriously.
Schedule missing on day 1
I had to turn off notifications on the first day of the con because it was full of ads. I don’t care what the “official drink” is. Then when I tried to check my schedule for day 2, it said “schedule not available yet.”
