What's New in Awing Learning

1.24.9

November 4, 2026

What's new in 1.24.4: MORE WORDS THAT SPEAK 452 more words now play in a real Awing voice instead of staying silent. Tap the speaker on a word and you hear someone from the community say it. CLEARER RECORDINGS Every native recording in the app was measured and repaired this release. Clips that began with a second of silence now start when you tap. Clips recorded too quietly to hear on a phone have been brought up to a normal level. One recording that turned out to be silent has been removed, so the app no longer shows a speaker button for a word it cannot say yet. DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT Parent Settings now has Delete My Account. It permanently removes your account, every child profile on it, all progress and settings, and your backup. If you have donated recordings to the Awing corpus, you choose whether they stay (with your name and email removed) or go. CLEANER DICTIONARY Removed 207 duplicate spellings of words that were already in the dictionary under another form, so searching gives one clear result instead of near-identical twins. FIXES - Forgotten parent PIN reset now works reliably. - Words with tone marks and special letters find their own recording instead of a similar word's. - Corrected the backup screen's description of where your data is kept. Built with love for the Awing community.
