AXP - iBalance

This application is used for determining frequency/loudness imbalance between the two channels (left and right) through a behavioural assessment. It can be used for assessing left/right balance on different frequency bands and with different signals - it’s suitable for both headphones and loudspeakers assessment, and also for assessing balance of hearing aids and cochlear implant devices. The procedure and interface are very simple - the user just needs to set the playback level and then proceed through the different signals, using the wheel on the screen to ensure that the level is balanced between the two ears. At the end of the test, participants can see their results and opt to email a PDF to their email address of choice.
