Good but
Good game but very short , like first one more .
Fun but not worth the cost.
I had fun playing this, but itโs not really something I would replay time and again. The first Azkend game has amazing replayability, and Iโve been playing it on and off for years. This one I feel there is too much emphasis on story line, and timed puzzles for it to have that kind of longevity. TBH it was a relief to have finished it, and I donโt think thatโs the sort of reaction you want from a game.

Awesome and unique game
So glad to find a unique match 3 game like this, with no IAP, thank you, developer! Very beautifully designed. The only thing I donโt like is that itโs landscape only (the original Azkend is portrait, much easier to hold and match). Still, thatโs not a dealbreaker. This game is super well designed and challenging and fun.

In fine tradition
Loved what they kept the same, love what they changed. Story is fun and art is beautiful. Good sound track too. The new added game types are extremely fun. Not giving it 5 stars because I beat it without losing (so not challenging enough) and only took a few hours. So changing one of those two Iโd change my rating to 5. But given the quality of game content and possible updates definitely worth the money.

Very Annoying
It doesn't seem like the tutorial is ever done. Each level of the game seems to start out with a hint or tutorial. I figure once the original tutorial is done, I know how to play the game. If something different comes to the game, a tutorial is nice. When it's just match 3, I don't need a lesson each time.

Needs update
This needs to be updated for newly released firmware and hardware. And the story is so short it's pathetic that the developers didn't add more. I thought the first was the better of this version 2.
Can't play with one hand!
Azkend was a very simplistic game that was good for killing some time while standing on the subway or in line at the post office. One of the key benefits to that game was that it's easily playable with one hand. Azkend 2 is in landscape mode for some reason. Why? It therefore requires two hands.
Azkend 2 does look much nicer with higher resolution graphics. But I deleted it right away because it's in landscape mode. Oh well.

Boring
Got boring rather quickly. I agree more with the 3.5 star reviews listed on the Internet.
Wonderful graphics
A wonderful game with much more stunning visuals than the original Azkend, but my only complaint is that the tiles are a lot smaller in this game that makes it a lot harder to go fast!
Very entertaining
It was a pleasure playing this game, the graphics, music and the game itself is very interesting. Kudos to the developers. Highly recommended!
Fun but too short
First of all, to people whining that it's too difficult: It's not supposed to be relaxing. Not every game is relaxing. If you're finding it too difficult, do like the game says and try different active and lassie power ups.
My only complaint is that the game is so short! I beat it in a few days of casual play. The first Azkend seemed much, much longer. Please add levels.

Too difficult to enjoy
I loved the original Azkend. Version 2, however, even after all of the updates, is way too difficult and time-limiting to be enjoyable for me. I'm just not into that. I like relaxing games.
Excellent
Great puzzle game, adventure storyline, music, high production values overall. Gameplay is challenging and there's a lot of strategy involved in picking the correct items best suited for each level. Getting stuck on a level is frustrating, but switching up equipment in your inventory usually is the key to passing the level. I agree with most reviewers that the timer is frustrating but it's all the sweeter when you beat the level.

Enjoyed it!
Nice music and graphics. Very challenging. I love the story that goes along with it.
Soundtrack
One of the best games on the market today with a great soundtrack. I still like the 1st version best but this one is pretty close. I first saw Azkend 1 on a friends ipad & loved it so much that I bought an ipad mini. So that tells you much I like the game. Now if they only would come out with a Azkend 3 it would make my day. Good work 10 Tons Ltd.

Frustrating Gameplay
I enjoyed the adventure mode mostly but 2 things make this a game to avoid. Some levels are going to be lost from the beginning. On multiple occasions I had maps where there was only 1 valid move and then the map would regenerate. What is worse is that sometimes the newly generated map had the same issues.
Then on the medals gameplay, you can lose the ability to win the medal with no explanation of why. Randomly the medals get disabled for the level.

An excellent successor
For the longest time, I was put off by reviews that were saying just how difficult and frustrating this game is. It seems the game has been balanced since then, because Azkend 2 is truly excellent. I'll be clear: if you want a relaxing match game, Azkend 2 is not for you. (It can be frustrating at times, as you really need to vary your powerups, much moreso than the first game.)
That said, if you want a challenging, beautiful match game with excellent music and nicely varied goals (much more so than the first Azkend), then you've found your game.
EDIT: just finished the game last night...and went back and started it over again (you get to keep your power ups!), as well as working on the medals. On the whole, some of the levels maybe feel a bit too hard (bug levels on a small grid were quite challenging), in that they require as much luck as skill...but no board took me more than a dozen tries....and it makes the payoff all the more rewarding. Difficult, but not impossible (Jewel Quest vs levels, I'm looking at you). On the whole, every bit as good as the first game, and in many ways, better.

Great game
Just completed it. Really addictive game. Storyline seems to be derived from a kind of Tomb raider, which is a bit dumb for a puzzle/logic game. And a REALLY stupid voice-over, with the worst dialog I've ever heard. Just adds to the fun though. The gameplay is so addictive they just about get away with it.

Excellent matching gameplay with good controls and top notch art and music. Loved this game. Finished it in about three sittings.
