The store is vast and pathway wide enough to walk through and around the other aisles. The store is good for home decorating and shopping for items that anyone can do themselves. Sometimes you need assistance without having to pay for it . Advisers at hand , not many advisors. To advise on items to purchase for tasks and jobs around the house that needs doing .

As web site poor search
The web site is the same when searching for something. Latest example is watering can. It supplies dozens of results that aren’t what I wanted. It’s now got to the stage I don’t even bother to look and prefer other suppliers. It’s not convenient it’s losing you business.
Login and connection problem
I have about 100 apps on my phone and this is the only one app has problems. I can’t login with the app. It also has listing problems. I sent a customer support request via website. They answered me like delete the app and reinstall it again. It didn’t work. Another issue is I have to refresh to see products and/or product detail always. I think they need to renew this app.

I don’t think I’ve ever encountered an app this janky
Wow – absolutely awful experience trying to place a substantial order using AMEX. Spent an hour and a half putting together a click & collect order fighting with searching and filtering, only to realize that for some reason I couldn’t pay with my AMEX card in the final payment panel, even though it was confirmed over the phone that this Barrow B&Q does indeed accept the credit card.
After trying to go to an online browser to fulfill the order instead, I realized my completed basket on the app was not reflected in my online account. My basket was entirely deleted, even though I was signed in with the same account.
So then - when I went back to the app yet again to try to figure out how on Earth to pay for this order - my full basket was deleted there, too. I won’t even dive into how difficult it is to filter or find available products via the app or website, with filters constantly resetting.
At this point B&Q has wasted too much of my time with multiple historic availability discrepancies, rife technical glitches and discombobulated order wait times of nearly every app, in-store and website experience I’ve had. I will not be shopping here again. It is simply too arduous to spend money here.

Wonderful and user friendly
App never shows anything in store
I search for items in my local store. What’s the point when everything I search for in this app is “sold by xxxx”. & not available in store. Stop trying to be Amazon & just show what’s in your physical stores via this app. Very annoying & I just go to a competitor.

Usually very useful but currently doesn't even open. Just stuck on loading screen forever. iOs is up-to-date.
Utterly useless
Placed an order via the app to click and collect a product that was clearly shown as in stock which I needed that day. Three hours later I receive an order cancellation email stating that the product was in fact not in stock and now I have to wait up to 14 days to get my money back. Don’t waste your time with B&Q - go elsewhere.

Too 3rd party focused
99 times out of 100 all I want to do on the B&Q site is find if something is available in my local store to call in and collect. Why does both the B&Q site and app make this so difficult? Instead your search is returned with thousands of products the majority of which are third party suppliers. Only by going into filters can you change this and that keeps resetting. There needs to be a setting you can set on the main search “only show items in stock at my selected store” It’s become such a frustrating that I usually give up and go to Wickes instead which has a much easier to use website and usually better quality products!
