What's New in B&W Budget
1.4.3
November 1, 2026
A polish update: calmer, smoother and easier on every screen. • Left to spend: Home now shows what you can actually spend. Turn off “Spending account” on a savings account and it stays out of the figure — on Home, the widget and Apple Watch too. • Recurring items follow your Default account, unless you choose another one for them. • Smoother: the app opens faster, lists scroll without stutter, rows glide in as you scroll, and every sheet and button moves the same calm way. • Swipe between months on Home and Activity, and every button answers the moment your finger lands. • Easier: bigger tap targets, tidier spacing, and the field you’re typing in always stays above the keypad — even on a small iPhone or with larger text. • Dark mode: softer greys, so cards stand gently apart. • Add from anywhere: the app icon’s quick actions, the widget and Siri now open straight to Add, and never close something you haven’t saved. • iPad and Mac: the B&W Budget mark now leads the sidebar. • Mac: one calm hover everywhere, the amount centred in Add, and a key for nearly everything — arrows in every list, ⌘Return to save, ⌘9 for Recently deleted, ⌃1–⌃4 for Insights. • Fixed: opening one account after another could carry the first account’s details into the second. • Fixed: the Default account could switch back on another device while syncing. • Fixed: repeating transactions could be added again for past dates after an iCloud sync.
