Why is the FAA pushing UAS operators to use this app if this app has been discontinued?
The FAA keeps telling drone operators to download and use this app, but as soon as you download and open this app the first (and only) page that pops up says this app is discontinued and you have to download your choice of several different apps. This app does absolutely nothing except waste space on your phone

App Doesn’t Work
App doesn’t work anymore. Instead the FAA outsourced this functionality to 5 private companies so they can charge for in app purchases while delivering tax-payer funded data. Government corruption at its finest.

When you download it, you immediately got a message that says that this app is no longer available. Of course it was created by a government agency. 🤦♂️

Very misleading
FAA officials need to remove this from the APP Store. As a new drone pilot, reading everything from the FAA site shows this app as the one to use. They need to update their wording and be more accurate if they expect the drone community to do the same.
Why have this?
The app has been removed. Why even have this link?
Why is this on the store?
I installed this garbage and it immediately told me it isn’t available. Why waste taxpayer money keeping this up?

The old app worked just fine. The FAA should bring it back! Who needs new apps where you have to create more profiles for the same exact service? Just take the funding from the FBI because they're FEDsurrectionists!
