Really wish I could map the mod wheel… be warned, user manual says there’s CC settings but that must be only for the desktop version.

It no longer works in Logic Pro for iPad in fact neither pitch drift or magic show up as well .😢
Great Synth
I love this synth, it offers a lot of diversity. I just wish I could organize my presets a little better, like they do with factory packs.

Very nice vintage sounding synth. A bit limited, but with a bit of layering I get most sounds I need out of it. Nice updates, I like the dotted hidden features they’re adding. Hope to see more. But as it is already 5 stars.

Purchased Atoms, and was impressed enough to buy BA-1. The sale price made it a no-brainer! I’ve got a bazillion music apps on iPads3, 5 & 6 (I really need one iPad with 1TB memory). I had trouble installing BA-1 on the 6 and contacted support on the holiday. They responded the next morning! Great! I did wind up installing the latest iOS, and the problem disappeared. I’m certain that many, like me, hesitate to upgrade for fear of apps not working… Anyhow, I find this and Atoms to be an excellent app and the support is second to none!

No MIDI SETTINGS
Unlike the desktop version, this iOS version offers no midi mapping/midi learning/midi settings of any kind. They seem to have given up adding any meaningful updates to this while plugging away at the desktop version. Sad.
Sound packs for iOS
Why can’t we buy the sound packs from the Mac version just like you can on any other iOS synth ?

Sounds and look are great! midi learn features and a decent manual- leave a lot to be desired. I would have expected more from a $20 app. I’ll change my review when I see any updates to that. A work around for midi learn can be achieved in AUM for those needing that.

Too small to be usable.
As others have said - way too small to be usable. I can’t even read the patches in the patch selection menu! It needs to be scalable. It’s so frustrating to use on mobile because everything is currently so miniature
When it’s fixed I will improve the rating. The annoying thing is the PC version is great. Hopefully the UI is easy to fix

I get it. Everyone who’s anyone uses this synth and swears by it. Maybe it’s an iOS thing but this overdriven screamer cuts through a mix in all the wrong ways. I give it three stars sheerly due to the hype but really, I can’t see any clothes.

Great but …
Fantastic sounds but as others have said the ui is well set out but small and difficult to use with fingers. It’d be great if you could toggle the speaker/scope/keyboard graphics to allow the actual ui to be bigger. This is the single thing that really lets this synth down. This simple issue inclines we to wanting a refund as the ui is just not big enough for practical use which is a shame.
