No English option
Only language is Spanish. Completed first page with name, cell phone, email, etc., but the screen iOS keyboard wouldn’t allow me to scroll down to hit next. So couldn’t get past the first screen. A poor high friction app that needs modern refinement. Hope it improves for my next visit.

This is the official Taxi app
This app is nice for foreigners paying in cash to get the blue dollar rate. There’s an option to create an account within the app which opens up a browser window to the government site. As other reviews state, make sure the email is accurate, the other information isn’t verified. I’ve used the app about a dozen times and only had a problem finding a ride once. That said, the ride can take a bit longer to find than Uber.

Glitchy Garbage- Don’t Bother
Every facet of this app is poorly designed and full of glitches. It’s like something you would expect from a 3rd world country, not a sprawling metropolis like BA. It’s shocking that anyone paid for this horrid development.The final insult is that there is no point to putting your credit on file because the cab that you hail with the app will know nothing about it and you’ll have to pay with cash anyway. This app is utterly worthless and pointless.

Could not use it
I was able to register but when I went to enter credit card details, the app would close abruptly. Upon reopening the app, the card details where not saved.
Works OK
To use this, you need to set up an account with miBA, the local government. The app will give you the link. They ask for your email, nationality, DNI or passport number, etc. The only item you need to be true is an email address, so they can send you a confirmation email. The rest you can make up. You can do this before you get to BA, too. Once your account (cuenta) is set up you are good to go. Enter your start and end addresses (or select them on a map), get a fare estimate, choose a language, get a ride. When you leave BA, it is easy to close your account in the miBA website.

Buena app dentro de todo
Agradezco tener esta app ya que consigo bastante rápido servicio. Y tiene la opción de tarjeta con pago. No le doy 5 estrellas por algunas cuestiones tediosas pero sin embargo la sigo usando porque me sigue resultando por sobre otras aplicaciones de taxi.
Good for estimating cost of ride
Works in 2021! Couldn’t actually call a taxi with it but it’s a really good tool to estimate the cost of a ride between 2 points of the city.

Escandaloza comunicación que genera nula ayuda al pasajero, pesimo trato y cero respuesta de la administracion. Actualización: UN CHOFER BUSCÓ EL NOMBRE DE MI AMIGA EN FACEBOOK Y LE ESCRIBIO. TENGAN CUIDADO CON ESTA APLICACION. BORRENLA.

No da precio exacto
Los précis de los viajes son estimados, da un rango que varía en 100-150 pesos que no es comparable con Uber o Cabify que dan precios exactos y uno sabe que es lo que paga ANTES de confirmar un vehículo. Esto tienen que mejorarlo.

Fese buenas tardes. BA Taxi es la app para pedir taxis habilitados y seguros de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. El precio que se abona es el que indica el taxímetro, sin adicional y no sufre altas por demanda de pasajeros. La app te muestra un estimado debido a las posibilidades de congestiones o desvíos que los conductores profesionales y habilitados deban tomar.
